Super Circuit Group Buy Discussion
All right folks. Met with Frank and we have this following conclusion. Me, NZH and Botack was there.
2.0 CVT
Goods news, extractor will be ready in 10 days time. 4-2-1 design, since thats what the owners want.
1.8
4 designs will be tested per the following criteria with 2 rounds of testing.
round 1
4-2-1 with 2.5" connector pipe (existing 2.0 design)
4-1 with 2.5" connector pipe
round 2
4-2-1 with 2" connector pipe
4-1 with 2" connector pipe
Due to the nature of being a new 4-1 design for 1.8, Frank prefers to have the car there overnight for them to measure the welding jig properly and also proper time to complete the prototype properly. The 4-1 can be done based on the 4-2-1 measurement but might not be a proper fit (longer pipe which includes the heat shield mount).
Testing between round 1 and round 2 might take place over 1 week gap depending on the time the person volunteering can spare.
Also once the 1.8MT are done, when the 1.8CVT are free, they can drop by to do the dyno which is expected to be 3 hours.
Required cars:
1.8MT - 1 car. Overnight for 2 days in week 1. Another 1 full day testing in week 2
1.8 CVT - 1 car. 1 full day of testing. If no one volunteers then I would suggest going for the 2.0 CVT design.
Guys. If you have any objections to this plan, please raise it now. If no objections I will contact Frank again on Monday to tell him that we agree to this and he'll plan accordingly for the 7-11 May week.
NZH and Botack, do correct me if any of the above is wrong.

You guys managed to get a great deal out from SC. Seems to be the win-win situation already.
Can use my 1.8CVT for full day testing.
4-1 with 2.5" connector pipe <--- This one seems to be for 2.0CVT de due to the pipe size? If it is, I do suggest those 2.0CVT wait for the compared dyno result before deciding. DOnt go 421 then see dyno 4-1 have more usable powerband.. cry lor then.
