QUOTE(miuk @ Apr 28 2012, 04:08 AM) Attention Super Circuit Group Buy Super Circuit Group Buy Discussion1.Leslie 2. metoo 3. jnick 4. K3 12.Hazique/botack 13.Azizul/stariz 14.Peter/T630 15. underworld Saturday, 28th April, 1pm, NZH and I will be going to SC to meet Frank to finalize the details of the upcoming designs. Due to the overwhelming confusion of whats happening there has been various discussion in WA and at the TT on how to proceed. Here's the plan to discuss (to discuss, not finalize). Item #1 - Design 1st priority: 4-2-1 design for 1.8MT 4-1 design for 1.8 MT we will discuss what Frank can do for us in terms of piping sizes, flex pipe design, connector size, etc. 2nd priority: potential 1.8 CVT testing to date no 1.8 CVT available for testing 3rd priority: 4-1 design for 2.0 CVT Since all 2.0 CVT members have indicated they wanted 4-2-1 design and no volunteers, this is now the lowest priority. Instead we will ask for when the extractors can be ready once go ahead is given. Item #2 - Potential pullout We will also be asking if there's a possibility to pull out some names and return the deposit of those that do not want to continue under this arrangement. This meeting will be a fact finding mission and all data obtained will be feedback through the forum for final decision. Should item #2 be possible, those not happy can pullout. We will try our best to obtain the best outcome possible for the GB and what Frank can do for us. Do PM me with your phone numbers if any of the 15 above have any questions for Frank. Please do not call me in the morning for those that have my number until after 12pm (i need my sleep). PM or SMS or WA. All right folks. Met with Frank and we have this following conclusion. Me, NZH and Botack was there. 2.0 CVT Goods news, extractor will be ready in 10 days time. 4-2-1 design, since thats what the owners want. 1.8 4 designs will be tested per the following criteria with 2 rounds of testing. round 1 4-2-1 with 2.5" connector pipe (existing 2.0 design) 4-1 with 2.5" connector pipe round 2 4-2-1 with 2" connector pipe 4-1 with 2" connector pipe Due to the nature of being a new 4-1 design for 1.8, Frank prefers to have the car there overnight for them to measure the welding jig properly and also proper time to complete the prototype properly. The 4-1 can be done based on the 4-2-1 measurement but might not be a proper fit (longer pipe which includes the heat shield mount). Testing between round 1 and round 2 might take place over 1 week gap depending on the time the person volunteering can spare. Also once the 1.8MT are done, when the 1.8CVT are free, they can drop by to do the dyno which is expected to be 3 hours. Required cars: 1.8MT - 1 car. Overnight for 2 days in week 1. Another 1 full day testing in week 2 1.8 CVT - 1 car. 1 full day of testing. If no one volunteers then I would suggest going for the 2.0 CVT design. Guys. If you have any objections to this plan, please raise it now. If no objections I will contact Frank again on Monday to tell him that we agree to this and he'll plan accordingly for the 7-11 May week. NZH and Botack, do correct me if any of the above is wrong. This post has been edited by miuk: Apr 28 2012, 05:22 PM |

You guys absolutely deserve all the credits and respects for the time and effort put in
I hope the rest will be clear now...and don't feel shortchanged anymore because this is proven we never were, we were just misguided and assumed a lot of things which weren't true Now let's wait for the 2.0 to get their extractors installed and testing for 1.8 to commence |
