Anyone know if langkawi got socar or go car? Don’t want to commit full day rental because some days I just chill in hotel.

dont have. i got axia manual at rm70/day. else u spend grab if want to save rental

obviously most will give rm90-100/day even axia. but somehow i just ask one post in fb, he quoted me rm70/day then proceed.

found another sad thing, ferry from Kuala Perlis only 4 trip a day, and 1st trip is after 2pm.. wasted halfday there

Been to langkawi 10 years ago

Went there few weeks ago.
For attractions it's mainly those tourist spots like sky bridge, island hopping, waterfall and nature stuff.

I been to pantai cenang, kuah, tanjung rhu, all very quiet. No longer got Hussle and bustle like last time.
Now more of chill vibes which I like due to covid and etc.
But some shops have closed, so expect more crowds at the famous restaurant

Yes rented an axia for 80 a night, kuah only went there for the seafood restaurant. Wonderland seafood restaurant.
There was quite a long queue at that shop.

Just got back from Langkawi.


Wonderland not so good, just so so only. Location next to longkang, many flies and mosquitoes.

Grab driver recommended my Desa Permata Ikan bakar, went there and huge local crowd compare to Wonderland.

Waitress suggested me Ikan Loban and Siakap. It was the best, superb, fish was fresh,sweet and yummy. Best so far i tried in Langkawi. Better than Wonderland !


There is also another place called Restoran Nelayan at Bukit Malut, was recommended by a few locals but no time to visit.


Please do visit Desa Permata Ikan Bakar, its seriously way better than Wonderland...

So kuah just for seafood. Not sure if worth 30mins drive lol.

Yes, i took grab from cenang to kuah

But it was worth it, Desa Permata Ikan Bakar is a must visit, its where the locals go, pack on friday night.

Price way cheaper than Penang.
