Back then visited Astro thread and Digital TV thread.

First time saw the forum in pudu back in the noughties. Cc was second floor and hostel was on 3rd if i recall correctly. Never been interested but since a year or two ago, needed to practice my brain. So i jumped on the wagon.

Wow… a bit of a walk down memory lane! I registered some 5 years ago after having been a silent browser for years before that.

No regrets, it’s been a good ride so far.

Joining here cuz i want to know what really happened that make many people port out from Maxis back in 2017 i think (but heard about this forum back in 2009)

I study only diploma

I work as drafman AutoCAD, then retrenched sbb the chinaman rugi in one condo project.

Condo project problem is one mistake will multiplied at all units. If 1000 units, you lost x1000. The boss say I salah but actually the design engineer salah.

So i protect say not my fault, i follow instructions only. Boss say u r senior already should know the error and kasi tau design engineer.

I said design engineer his boss design manager should check not me drafman check. Drawing title block say “drawn by” is me, “check by” is design manager.

So boss asked me to resign but I said not my fault why i resign? If i resign design engineer & manager must sekali resign.

Then boss say ok compensate me VSS because company also losing money from the project, whole project team retrenched sekali and project abandoned.

My nickname is from when I was trying to sign up for Lowyat. I typed my usual nickname, but it was already taken, so I looked at my food, which was bubur cha cha, and decided to type it as BurBurChaCha~. I chose this avatar because it's a very cute cat! a valid reason right :3

Actually I don't remember why I first joined, but judging from the registration date, I think it's most likely due to the infamous lowyat phone theft case so I signed up, and never came back nearly a decade until last year 2024, found out I do have an account here lol

There is one, knew his same nickname used in other forum, last met before covid, not sure how he is now since he unfriended me on FB and I didn't bother to ask, but he should be all well based on his profession

for nickname I copied it from J****The*** for one good old MMORPG MapleStory (fck you J****, hope you burn in hell together with your friends), so I just swap the IGN with my name and with the word thief because thief class is cool (I don't mean it in real life okay), just nicely fit 12 characters word limit

avatar is random, will change if feel like it
