Greetings and salutations, my fellow Bayern Munich fans. I've been a huge supporter of this great club, tracing back to as far as I can remember. I'm also a fan of the German national team and the German Bundesliga. My favourite player of all time to put on both national team and Bayern jersey is Lothar Matthaus.
Now that King Ottmar, the one that brought us Euro glory is back, I expected the team to be much stronger than before, considering the quality of players we have at the moment. But he did seem a little rusty during the weekend. That 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Nurnberg was a shocker. Now we're 11 points behind, but there's still quite a bit to go.
ohh..my! I never thought the topic will be alive again! Thanks to scorps for actively posting information on Bayern.. even me couldnt keep up with the curret news!!. 100% sorry!! For our president; mr.halilintar: I was in away for a few project and now has come back to Brunei again. Plus I brought a nw Macbook and lost all my bookmark on the site. Will be returning as usual to Malaysia on month end? No gathering this time?
Keep up the good work guys! Keep the Bayern spirit alive..
Current stat: 1 FC Schalke 50 2 Werder Bremen 47 3 VfB Stuttgart 46 4 Bayern München 44
Good to see that the thread starter is back. The link for the Google Group that Mr Halilintar mentioned earlier (http://groups.google.com.my/group/my-fcbayern) seems like a nice place to hang out and talk about Bayern.
Bayern drew with Werder Bremen, in a game that we should've won. Created more than enough chances to bury the game, even hit the frame of the goal twice. But that's football for ya, and Podolski's goal was cancelled out.
Six points off the top. Nine games to play. Anything can happen. Anotehr thing that's interesting is the relegation battle. 6 points seperate last place and 9th.
Please join us on our Facebook group (search for My-FCBayern) We'll be having a get together to watch the game later. It's the last hurdle on the road to home.
It's less than seven hours until kickoff. My-FCBayern would like to invite all Bayern München fans to join us in watching the UCL Finale at Restoran Safiz Corner, Desa Sri Hartamas (3.162997,101.648338)
Bayern, Bundesliga or Mannschaft threads over here are dead. More to BPL in these territories.
I'm a long time Bayern fan, active on FB. Did you know Malaysia has an official Malaysian fanclub? That's where people are at: https://www.facebook.com/My.FCBayern
We might not be active here, but the My-FCBayern (FC Bayern München Fan Club Malaysia) has a very active fan-base that gather for viewing parties, with the UCL Final event recently concluded memorably.
We have made Restoran Safiz Corner, Sri Hartamas as our unofficial home base for viewing parties. Any updates or change of venues will be displayed on the FaceBook page. Come join us!
Some people say that the Robben penalty + red card decision was harsh. Some even say it wasn't a penalty.
Even if there was someone else on the line covering the goal, let's say another defender, it would still be a red. That challenge was rash and reckless. Standing foot + impact could have easily result in Robben's leg breaking.
Red card ruins the match? How about potentially ruining someone's season?
Anyone who thinks otherwise, I dare them to stand on one leg whilst another person comes flying into their standing leg.
