QUOTE(tebong @ Jun 27 2008, 09:35 PM) Irzani, i think u should ask TM network engineers to investigate. minimum range acceptable suppose to be at 70% and above. your is like 50% QUOTE(hafiez @ Jun 27 2008, 09:49 PM) @Irzani, Just check the modem :try to check ur downstream in ur modem configuration. the downstream will show u the exact speed that TM gave to u. Downstream 1024 Upstream 512 Is this 1 mbp/s package? or it should be 1.5 mbp/s for downstream? This post has been edited by Irzani: Jun 28 2008, 03:18 PM |

My package is 1 MB, but after changing it to 2MB, my SNR margin drop down to 14 and then less than 5 after 1-2 hours. When complaint, they said it's about the connection cable between my house and TM Ibusawat is not good and still use copper wire. They blame the cable completely, can it acceptable?
Is it true SNR margin is about cable and not about other part? EG : DSLAM? or TMNET Connection Centre? Thank you This post has been edited by Irzani: Oct 17 2008, 12:51 AM |

Is it true SNR Margin will drop if you are using more high speed?
