I'm also using 1 mbp/s package. Is it wrongly capped or is it a normal only to get half?

Irzani, i think u  should ask TM network engineers to investigate. minimum range acceptable suppose to be at 70% and above. your is like 50%

@Irzani,
try to check ur downstream in ur modem configuration.
the downstream will show u the exact speed that TM gave to u.

Just check the modem :

Downstream 1024 Upstream 512

Is this 1 mbp/s package? or it should be 1.5 mbp/s for downstream?

My package is 1 MB, but after changing it to 2MB, my SNR margin drop down to 14 and then less than 5 after 1-2 hours. When complaint, they said it's about the connection cable between my house and TM Ibusawat is not good and still use copper wire. They blame the cable completely, can it acceptable?

Is it true SNR margin is about cable and not about other part? EG : DSLAM? or TMNET Connection Centre?

Thank you sweat.gif

Is it true SNR Margin will drop if you are using more high speed?

Yes, but first you have to check with the TMPoint or TMNet website either your area support the 4 mbps service..
