so, any bad feedback for stunner .26? Dun want like yesterday night, flash .25 at 2am and wake up @ 8am to find that it got problem and .26 is out.

thanks for the reminder. So from Stunner .26.1 to Cyanofree, just reboot in recovery and flash? No need to wipe cache or dalvik? Or best to wipe all and start from scratch? I do want to avoid wiping data if possible.

tested caynofree but it is not so customisable like stunner - eg. dock icons limited to 5 (normally i set to 7). the europia setting only unique to Stunner, right?

Maybe revert back to stunner .19. Is stunner .26 battery life as bad same as .26.1?

yes, make sense, so i flashed back to .26.1. Will monitor the battery drainage coz i saw some feedback at XDA saying the battery life is just normal. But even if the battery drain is not that good, it shouldn't bother me much as i am a light user.

Heard some saying the ALBA v3 giving good battery life, too bad it is not a choice to me becoz of the callerID problem.

haha... i also want to know why. As long as the ICS ROM is TW based, the callerID problem will be there. So i have no choice but stick to GB but luckily at last tried the Stunner ICS beta and found out the callerID does not occur anymore. So the phone database could not be corrupted as suspected previously. I found out the walkaround though - i.e. to edit all my number currently in +6012 xxx xxxx to 012 xxx xxxx. Apparently the system cannot link the incoming number 012 xxx xxxx to +6012 xxx xxxx in my contact list. It is too tedious and does not make sense to me edit all the 700+ contacts, so i just leave it. Just cross my finger when the official ICS is released by Samsung, this problem will be history.

i have tried flashing many roms, both GB and ICS, on my Note now like all of you here but none can solve the mysterious callerID problem on my Note. So i can only flash AOKP ICS rom at the moment.

bolded blue - mine is DiGi SME set.
bolded green - this might be possible issue coz i migrate my phone number by exporting from my previous Palm Treo 680 and import into Gmail contacts, using computer. Then sync it to my first android phone, HTC Desire.
bolded red - but why if i use AOKP rom, there is not problem? So to me, it is ROM specific problem, rather than my phone data problem.

I suspect the originality of the current leaked ROM - all from China currently is the culprit. My Note is DiGi SME set, got it on D-day when it is launched. So i dun see what so special about it compared to all other Notes here. But apparently I think i am the only one in this thread that have this problem.

no wonder so cheap. I am looking for one too.

why need hours? i thought just upload a low res photo with you Note and upload will do? I think i got it within few minutes.

i am really puzzled with this, ain't the later hardware will receive the update first? SII is getting ICS officially, we are still waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting............. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i thought everyone is going after the XO SP? Anyway, my Note is applied with Glast since it is available from kirra. Difficult to photograph it coz it is nearly invisible on the Note if you applied perfectly. Mine is just 98% done since i DIY but no complaint for daily use, can't hardly see the slight imperfection at some edges.

the pebble inspiration remind me of the Palm Pre.

yes, i think so. SII ICS update also been officially announced just last week. Ok, so now SIII is announced, faster give us our ICS update, Samsung!!!!

wow.... just for the colour. You got a good price there for SII. Thinking of getting a SII non G instead of SIII for my wife too. She does not need a powerful phone. RM1k SII is good enough as replacement for her aging HTC Desire.

1 week (since April 30) after release of official ICS in Canada, there is still no ROM of it yet to be downloaded from XDA. No one in Canada rip the ROM out for the rest of the world who can't wait any minute longer?

With the new SIII release, can't wait to have some features of it to be ported to our Note. The prevention of the screen going to sleep by detection of the movement of our eyes is really handy.
