Based on your experience, what do you think the ROM's pros and cons?

Hard to hold the phone if it's in landscape mode

It's adi hard to type in normal mode since the phone is so big if change to landscape mode..it's like using tablet adi

What is ICS stock launcher? Do you mean Apex or Nova launcher?

I would say you are one of the rare user who thinks FB is nice ; Friendcaster is way much better and most important it loads very , very much faster than the lethargic Facebook app

It is normal , it happen sometimes when you flash the Chinese leak. Just switch it off and reboot it and than only boot to recovery mode to proceed further

what apps are being used in the screenshot? doesnt look like cube effect or anything. some sorta live wallpaper? i love how it seems to bring "dimensions" to the screen

owh i used to use that live wallpaper. back then they didnt have that transition effect. just the usual cube and all. interesting. imma give it a try.

btw have u tried the Xperia S Earth livewallpaper? Its absolutely frickin stunning on the note! I been using it so far and its my fav live wallpaper. When u swipe the screen the earth (and the moon orbitting around it) spins too. Then when u dun touch the earth and moon slowly turns and orbits.

Does anyone of you clean their Note using vinegar + water? i heard that it works wonder removing stains and bacterias but my question is how much water and how much vinegar is required. hmmm.

Just gotten myself an SG Note today. And this will be my first Android phone, major upgrade from 4 year-old classic Nokia 6220.

Thot of going for ICS tonight, but I think Im having culture shock just by reading all the rooting and rom flashing methods and guidance.

Definitely a big jump for me. Anyway, what was the first few major things you guys did after getting the phone ?

Processors can never be plug and play from end user point of view.
It's too risky. ESD issues and so on.. So designers will never allow such plug and play concept for end user usage.
The so called "plug-and-play" is more for the designers themselves to use during R&D stage..
