I've been using the note for like 4 days now and I really love it works but I do need a few help on the below.

1. I'm using Go SMS as replacement for messaging. I have notification turned off in the native messaging app but I still receive 2 notification whenever I receive a message.

2. How can I change the background for the incoming/outgoing/missed call screen?

3. How can I change the lockscreen wallpaper?

Wait for coming galaxy s3?
Hox is laggy with sense ui. Change to Nova or apex launcher but lose HTC Widgets. No soff available yet unlock bootloader through htcdev n possibly lose warranty claims. Performance of quadcore not fully optimized yet. Wait for more apps support in future

hi, new samsung galaxy note owner here.
may i know what is normal ram usage for sg note? seems mine are relatively high.
when i check with task manager and other ram apps from android market it says i used up 500-600mb. while on the settings/apps/running it only uses around 300mb. so which is the correct one? im new for android phones. please help! thanks

now 506mb/800mb, usually can go up as high as 600mb/200mb. is that normal?

it may not be the phone. its quite durable. i play FPSE and online games and my phone super duper hot also. (unless i remember to adjust voltage after flashin lol) but it shudnt spoil phone. its more likely your battery charger has an issue. maybe a loose wire (your office chair run over cable?) or the adapter itself. first try charging with another adapter. then another outlet. then a different cable. and finally soft reset / factory reset your phone (could be the battery meter has issues)

once all these exhausted..,...then u panic

I'm a s2 user, want to help my friend root his note.

Usually, for s2, I just download the cf root kernal and flash using Odin, and I have a rooted phone with cwm.

I thought note is the same.
