Hello fellow LYN friends from Puchong.

Just came across this thread and I find it hilarious as someone who has been living in Puchong his entire life.

Not sure if it matters but you can update me into the list of people staying in B Puteri smile.gif

Ok Ok must try out, thanks for the info. I also looking for nice rojak around puchong area, so far didnt found any that can promote.

I know of some really good CHINESE rojak at Public Bank/Citibank at Bandar Puteri. However I don't always see them there tho. Not consistent. But it's good.
There's also one more at BBQ Soon Hing Pusat Bandar Puchong (Same row as Maybank facing LDP). I'm pretty sure that one opens all the time.

Do let me know what you think of their rojak smile.gif

In the UK, TESCO is seen as a low-price outfit.  There's a hierarchy there like here.  At the top of the chain here is probably the likes of Cold Storage and Grocer 33.  If you add the food department of Marks and Spencer's that's probably ahead of Cold Storage.  Below these guys, you have Jusco probably.  Then followed by TESCO and Carrefour and possibly Giant.  Then Hero, Econsave, KK, Speedmart.  Then Kedai Runcit Teik Huat etc.  The Brits can be VERY snobbish.  Some people won't be seen dead buying stuff from TESCO because it's near the bottom of the pecking order, just above really cheapskate places like ALDI, Lidl and ASDA.  These people shop at Waitrose and Marks and Spencer's and at a pinch, they might even go as low as Sainsbury, but no lower.  But they might buy online from TESCO because then there's no danger of them being seen in a TESCO outlet.  Apparently some of these people complained to TESCO's management for delivering their groceries in vans clearly marked with the TESCO logo.  Paiseh, ALL the neighbours can see that they're buying from cheapskate TESCO.  rclxm9.gif

there's really such a mentality for tesco over at the UK? lol doubt it's the same as in Malaysia. imo tesco is still okay okay wat.
doubt people will be looked down upon here if they happen to be seen at tesco.
so the delivery won't serve us the 'save face' benefit, just convenience I guess.

Maybe too many car owner make use of the free parking but perform banking chore instead of grocery chore. Me included. tongue.gif

Hm yeah that may be the main reason. If so they should at least make it free after the bank closes after 5pm and on weekends right.
But then everyone is greedy. Might as well just make everyone pay for parrking and at the same time boost sales.

Wuz nice yesterday, traffic was smooth. Saturdays are also jammed at LDP due to weekend traffic from down south and many companies still forcing their staff to work on Sat.

Hahah holiday what of course smooth lah. But then again it's a Puchong thread of course there will be lots of people talking about the traffic condition lols

Where in Puchong can get good currency exchange?

I don't know of any other options but I keep hearing my parents and relatives mentioning that the money exchanger in Tesco is the best. I believe they're under the same company as the one in IOI mall as well.
