QUOTE(pgsiemkia @ Jan 11 2013, 11:46 AM) (EDIT) Successful managing coffee-shops, massage parlours, KTVs, gambling joints, etc.? Looks like most of them are driving P.Cayenne, N.Skyline, Alphards and Rover Evoques as can be seen at watering holes in Geographer and Setia Walk. Many 9-6 workers toiled their entire lives and the most they can show is a Proton... Remember when I parents taught us to abide by the law when we were young and to study hard so we can have a better life? I should have run away and used my skills to move up the ranks to Tiger General or better, have la-la muis on my side and pay everything in cold hard cash...lol, too much dreaming! They have more fun than us so called white collared workers. Those are mostly spm graduates, or didn't manage to pass SPM and become school dropouts. But that is not always the case as only minority from these group become successful. I've a fair share of people around my circle of life who were once school dropout and still struggling right now. The same also goes to educated people who had a degree. Some did it, some still hanging tight on the rope while some fell. Thing is entrepreneurship is not everyone's cup of tea.

QUOTE(ozak @ Jan 12 2013, 12:06 AM) I found out that mostly graduated people work for non graduated boss. You mean those 40s boss? Last time education system is not perfect. I remember my parents studied up to standard 6, become school dropout and forced to work with their parents on rubber plantations. Given the chance, I'm sure they want to become a degree graduate too. This post has been edited by Icehart: Jan 12 2013, 12:59 AM

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jan 12 2013, 09:43 AM) In the past, we have only handful of local universities, now we have many. In SME and SMI nowadays, bosses are mostly well qualified. I think Lim Goh Thong or Loh Boon Siew example is very unlikely to happen again.Got to agree with you on that one. At the end of the day, it all boil down to whether the individual have the characteristic and attitude of a natural entrepreneur.

QUOTE(ozak @ Jan 14 2013, 12:31 AM) So what the hell we keep asking our children sturdy hard. And pay 5k a mth for schooling? The reality is different. Check further, form5 child back to 70's, 80's and early 90's is more mature than form5 child now. Form5 child last time is equal to college child now. Is std drop that much? If that is true, why send our children so hard to tuition centres? I also don't know.

QUOTE(bizklguy @ Apr 3 2013, 03:53 PM) Try JB money changer at Puteri 1/4 (just opposite Maybank). It normally offers better rates than those in IOI Mall and Tesco PBP. I changed my money already only saw your message. I'll give it a try next time. Still, many thanks.

QUOTE(ozak @ Apr 29 2013, 09:58 AM) They base at puchong too. After the toll to putrajaya opposite the mcd. Alot of satelite disc at the empty space. Yeah, let's see how good is their service. But if it comes with contract most probably I'll pass.
