Those chinese independent school I see some graduate from there can't really speak English. Wonder how to cari makan in Malaysia?
*
Well, the true facts, most of the graduates there mostly will ended up in Taiwan/Chinese unis and majority came out working for father companies and taking over the businesses to another gen.. biggrin.gif ..They are not from poor family mostly rich hawkers, cina apek construction companies & etc.. so - traditional Chinese businesses for sure..

Not all-lah.. I mean majority of the graduates from Chinese independent school normally ended up in traditional chinese businesses and only minority in those professional 9-5 jobs..

Anyway, those graduated and becoming Ah Beng & Ah Liang will be the one more successful than those working 9 to 5 or those Ah Beng & Ah Liang haha

From my circle of friend who finish schooling till spm and no further sturdy. 8 out of 10 people is a businessman. 1-3 person is already a millionaire.

Those further sturdy, 8 out of 10 is salaryman. Not a businessman.

Hi, has anyone got a contact number of old newspaper lorry man in Puchong?

Thanks a lot.

In Puchong, There are lotsa recycling centers. Why you wanted to get those middle man offering dirt cheap pricing by thickness of papers instead of KG? I normally bungkus everything and sell it to the recycling ctr beside Wisma Tractor or even in Bkt Puchong 2 area.

Normally full load of by car boot can get ~RM30-RM50.. Old newspaper guy, dunno can get RM15 or not haha

Wah can get so much-ar? I just donate every 3 months to the recycle bx by the road...including PET bottles and glass..
*
1kg of papers already ~ RM0.35 to RM0.40/kg 1kg of scrap irons already ~ RM0.70/kg, 1 scrap battery = RM20, and plastic/Aluminium ~ RM0.80/kg..

So just calculate if you have ~
50kg of paper,20kg of scrap iron, 20kg of alu & plastic on full load inside your car boot ..Atleast RM30-RM40 liao

That's why you can see so many recycling unkers & aunties wth homemade tricycle verywhere in Puchong.. Full load of that tricylye sometime can get RM50-RM100..Imagine they can get 4 loads of scraps daily...Not bad for an avg RM200/day hard work smile.gif

Pretty normal and already start at 7.30. This stupid car think that going inner road can beat the traffic. Than jam stuck at the bottleneck going out to LDP.
*
Yeah since early 2013 after school re-opened. The jam even start from Bkt Puchong side or probably even b4 the toll from Putrajaya!

I know of some really good CHINESE rojak at Public Bank/Citibank at Bandar Puteri. However I don't always see them there tho. Not consistent. But it's good.
There's also one more at BBQ Soon Hing Pusat Bandar Puchong (Same row as Maybank facing LDP). I'm pretty sure that one opens all the time.

Do let me know what you think of their rojak smile.gif
*
What they are talking is mamak rojak lah..not that rojak buah (Ipoh famous rojak)..That rojak buah still there.. If kena Kacau he will moved the stall to Giant main entrance side, If no kacau, Citibank.

Anybody know the name of the new school (under construction) along Persiaran Indera (Pusat Bandar Wawasan) ?
*
Very small school and only one block right below the foot of the landslide area last year? During last year landslide, I read somewhere in this thread ppl said proposed Chinese school hmm.gif but this is so small.. Or is it the relocation of the Castlefield Tamil school for the LRT project hmm.gif

any really really nice food in puchong, around meranti jaya area? I found one cheap economy rice in puchong utama, near hero there,  rice + pork chop with orange flavour + sawi + big sprout beans + salty egg + soup + chinese tea = RM5.50.

but that's not near meranti jaya.
*
Meranti Jaya got one superb restaurant mah..Classic Cuisine.. One of the best for me but not really cheap.. review here

actually for bt 14 jam why dun u guys use the kampung way from han min school all the way to the bridge connecting to tesco puchong from bdr putri
*
Crossing the over to bt14 from the other side of the road (Meranti/Puchong Utama/Putra Perdana area and also similarly for those from Putrajaya side, also another long waiting game.. atleast 2-3 traffic lights changes and the number of traffic lights on the old Puchong road to DHL side already crazy + passing thru Bdr Puteri area shakehead.gif

Anyway, since, I am on the way to Shah Alam HICOM side, not so bad as I have 2 alternatives.. either using the Jln Jurutera beside Klang river straight bypass the last toll to USJ rclxms.gif or using the inner Puchong Perdana-Puchong Intan way but still have to pay toll.. Both way also will cause me atleast 12mins of my times compare to 6 min if direct to the toll via highway if no jam. but once jam, direct to the toll via LDP can be as long as 15-20min! cry.gif
