QUOTE(stimix @ May 22 2012, 10:52 AM) Well not all hikers are civic minded. Out of 10 probably only 3. and another 7 will hv the same M'sian mentality.. Apa kisah, sure got ppl to clean up the act wan..So I still say no to opening of the Forest.. Furthermore this is a protected research forest. During my previous hiking, I already saw bits of rubbish here & there & even the UPM ppl the given lecture to Ozak, pangguban & me did told us of a Hash runners that entered the forest and started to drink & throw bottles everywhere....This is bad man Oi!!! don't blow my cover! Anyway that wan long time ago, just after SPM. |

i do agree some malaysian mentality actually left their shoe sole broken in the forest . this is pretty stupid . but not all hikers are like that. perhaps, like i said, donation or entrance fee to genuine hikers who love nature is given access only. those who can't pay are the trouble maker. i would prefer more money given to hire more RAngers or fund the education . good and bad. we still can't block the whole forest. even if it's block, someone will tresspass like couples or any addicts.

Actually MPSJ did organised lotsa past events to AYer Hitam Forest.. The only problem is not many know these events and how to register. Most probaby Puchong folks who want to enter can join this regulated visit. http://jkpzone16.blogspot.com/2011/09/trip...eserve-via.html http://forum.bandarkinrara.com/index.php?topic=1506.0;wap2 http://mesym.com/?p=817 |

Most probaby Puchong folks who want to enter can join this regulated visit. actually i started the hike 2-3 times per week. a regulated time is ok but we need the exercise. it's really good and help to detoxify. i been paying gym money every month before , RM 200 plus. and i find this hiking works and much more exhausted than gym. i don't mind to pay entrance fees. people cannot ignore the fact that nothing is a free ride. maintenance takes resources like money. hope people is more open minded and help the forestry dept.http://jkpzone16.blogspot.com/2011/09/trip...eserve-via.html http://forum.bandarkinrara.com/index.php?topic=1506.0;wap2 http://mesym.com/?p=817 |

QUOTE(PangurBan @ May 21 2012, 08:15 PM) I'm going to stop going to mamak places from now on. For that price, you can go to JM Bariani House at IOI Boulevard, air conditioned, spacious, comfortable, good food and the price is definitely more value for money than Mafana restaurant. Here's why: I was at Mafana just now, had a serving of Briyani, a piece of chicken, and three different types of vegetables. The bill came up to RM13.80 which I thought a bit much so I queried this at the cashier and he mumbled something and beckoned the waiter over. The waiter said: "Briyani, one yegg, one chicken, one vegetable 9.50. You take 3 vegetable, one vegetable two ringgit. 15 ringgit." I said this was unacceptable or something to that effect. Then they wrote it out on a piece of paper. Plain briyani = RM5.50. Chicken RM4.50. 3 vegetable = RM6. Total = RM16. I protested that they'd now come up with three totally different bills for me to pay. So the cashier said ok ok you pay 13 ringgit. I refused to pay that amount, gave him RM12 and said that was all I was going to pay (actually I wonder now why I gave him so much, the most I've ever paid for briyani was RM11 at Hasbuna, which is far better than Mafana). Better stick to Chinese establishments from now on, and non-mamak banana-leaf joints. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

DATO' JAMAL MD YUNUS... OWNER of: - SEKINCHAN Ikan Bakar chain or Restaurants (there is an outlet in Bandar Puteri, Puchong) ( owner several LARGE chains of restaurants doesn't SOUND "Petty" ) - IBM Automobiles Sdn Bhd ( owns AP's [ Approved Permits ] to IMPORT foreign cars ) - Kedai Ikan 1Malaysia ...and let's not forget, he's a CLOSE FRIEND/BUDDY of DATUK SERI NOH OMAR, the current Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industries ( some or MOST even say, his CRONY! ) ...1 word for these UMNO related businesses..."BOYCOTT" nationwide!
