QUOTE(ZeroSOFInfinity @ Oct 19 2012, 08:44 PM) Well, I might have bad (or is it worse?) news - the Sunway Exit will be (somehow) diverted next week. The traffic could be.... catastrophic. You mean the Sunway exit along Kesas? Eastbound AND Westbound, or one side only?Anyone got a picture of the diversion plans? I can't find them online. |

QUOTE(rayng18 @ Oct 21 2012, 09:53 AM) Just used LDP from Kesas, they have reduced the lanes from Sunway toll to Putrajaya to 1 and increased to 3 lanes for outter ones from LDP/Kesas. Hope that this will be a better option than the previous one, we shall see. All it takes is for one car to break down in that putrajaya lane, or some accident. That whole slew of traffic habis. Total standstill. |

21 December approaching fast.
On another note, coming back to Puchong at 4pm just now, I noticed that the Putrajaya bound traffic on the LDP has been reduced to one lane. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Oct 23 2012, 08:36 AM) We are safe. Ha... Ha... No wonder I get this sinking feeling every time I go to Asia Café. Or maybe it's because the food there is just lousy?I still remember very early where Puchong jaya first develope. Even PBP still is a rubber tree. It is pain in the ass just to drive from old Klang road till the everyday food court point. It can take as long as 1hr. Can see those mining area around ioi mall all the way to tesco. And some area like LDP is reclaim mining land. The most dangerous place is around the ioi business park, 1puchong and the LDP around Chevrolet showroom. Sink hole and land slide happen before. People get kill too. The whole old Puchong road around front ioi business park gone. I remember I have to drive into Puchong jaya and came out from 1 Puchong road back to old Puchong road. That time the area still have many kampung house. 1puchong area is a valley area last time. And the water flow from the pbp hill side toward this area. Than flow to the mining lake opposite LDP road. This LDP road have been sink before due to the idiot developer block the water flow under the road. So those who know the pass history of this area won't buy the 1puchong shop lot. Knowing it will crack after sometime. |

It seems rentals have skyrocketed in Pusat Bandar. A few years ago, DSL's in Wawasan 2 were going for RM800 a month. A few days ago, I saw a board nailed to a tree asking for RM1400; and someone's asking RM1200 for a flat at Kenanga Apartment.

Coming back from PJ just now at 1130, I noticed that the plastic barricade after the sunway toll now has this configuration - 2+2 up till just before the Kesas exit on the Klang-bound side; 3+1 thereafter in favour of Puchong Jaya bound traffic. There's a breach in the barricade at the changeover to allow people in the outer two lanes to switch to the three-lane side of the barricade.
