Does anyone know where can I get the fibre optic cable, and how much does it normally cost? Somehow it manages to split into half (probably some mice bit it)
Did a little search just now and I found a similar topic but that thread ended without any information i can use :/

The left-most cable on the black unifi router IS the fibre optic cable... right? Just incase i'm wrong, please save me before i got flamed.

Thanks a bunch in advance biggrin.gif

Which cable, as I recall they are either normal LAN cable which connect to the wifi router (RJ45) , power cable and normal telephone cable(RJ11).

Best way to test is, find a light source. Shine from one end, you can see light on the other end.

Yea just call them to come fix it. If you don't have the equipment to terminate the cable you cant fix it. Plus that cable goes outside your house doesn't it? And yes that is the fibre cable.

Fiber cable is not something home user can fix. Call tm....

Even you have equipment you need experiences to correctly do it.

Sharp angle 90 degrees cannot because the inside cable will break, but if got a curve bent then still acceptable. The guy who did the installation in my house was very careful when he came to the corners. tongue.gif
