very interested since it seems like the cheapest in LYN

Edit: Does it support resume download? [since my connection here always DC every hour or so] and is there a limited bandwith per month [eventhough i use 1 MB but who knows]

Edit 2: Will love to see the UI of the website coz some torrent service here, UI very confusing

The server you are using now is not overloaded, so it is confirm that you can get the max speed from the server side. Most probably the problem lies on your side, which there are few things you may want to check first:
1. HTTP or FTP downloads? HTTP with IDM 8 connections works just fine.
2. Your speedtest to oversea servers? Especially France. VIP20 is not going to give you full 20Mb/s speed all the time download from oversea servers. You have to understand that.
3. Anyone else hogging your internet connection in your house? Try check the DHCP clients connected to the router.

Work fine with my 4Mbps Streamyx. Can get full speed on the same server.

I don't have UNIFI so I got no idea whether TM is doing any traffic shaping on downloads or not.. I shall ask my friend who is using 10Mbps Maxis Home Fibre to test out the download speed later.

Added on September 11, 2012, 11:44 amSeem no issue with Unifi. Tested with another friend's Unifi VIP5 can download from same server with speed 630~650kB/s.

Added on September 11, 2012, 1:11 pmMaxis Home Fibre 10Mbps tested can reach 1.2MB/s. So there is no problem on the server side. If problem still happens, try check with TM whether there is any traffic shaping being done on your connections, although they won't admit it. biggrin.gif

I am using 4Mbps Streamyx too. Can always download max speed from the server, unless there is something wrong with TM. You can try it out first. Check your PM inbox.
