any critical difference? in terms of modifications and also drifting? axle : more smooth drift? belt : more smooth drift?
sorry ah noob on this.....
I'm noob also...this is my 1st car. So cannot compared between axle and belt. Just some info from the net said that axle is more durable but belt easier to mod and less torque steer (car going left/right when full throttle from standstill). But IMO, its depend on the driver, some prefer axle, some belt.
Mod the ratio is by changing the pulley to different sizes to achieve different power distribution (normal is 50-50) so that the rear get more power than front, which is harder to control but makes it more fun and realistic.

Buggy/MT is good for letting off some steam.. maybe will buy one 2nd hand cheap.
Brushless vs nitro, who won?
Depends on what u mean by won la
nitro needs more tuning..hehe..but can chase la.. my buggy 2wd, the nitro all 4wd..i working harder to chase, since the surface very lose..cannot power on while taking corners..hehe.. but at straights, can keep up with the nitros...
my brushless is ~12t, with a 35a ESC.
here's the track btw
