QUOTE(mohdjiman @ Jan 17 2013, 10:46 AM) Yokomo / MST / Street Jam Which is the best for drifting? Belt driven or shaft? street jam and yokomo both has wide steering angle, good for CS. the best for drifting is the one that you tune according to your driving style. street jam and yokomo has lots of parts for replacements and hopups, MST i'm not sure. get a belt driven. shaft driven sometimes has torque steer. in the end, it's up to your budget and preference. it's all about setting and practice.

QUOTE(jaylike7 @ Jan 15 2013, 01:57 PM) Hi Robinloh21, remember me? i'm Jay, the one you met in the other day at MOD track. good decision on the OTA-R31 chassis purchase togather with the Dualsky ESC & LRP motor. too bad i only read your post today or else you would have spent lesser for not going for the china brand chassis. anyway, welcome to the RC Drift club and hangout more in MOD track, for sure you will learn alot there with other members in MOD. Hi jay. Looking forward to learn from you guys, How often you will be at mod cheras? Just manage to learn some stuff from Max also , the dealer for streetjam in Jb. Nice guy!

[TIP] It's always better to buy a higher C rated battery as compared to a lower C. Also, I've came across many LHS that claims that using higher C batteries will fry your ESC. I say that is false. The motor will PULL how much power it needs. So if the battery, with the higher C rating, will be able to sustain the higher amp draw. A lower C rated battery will be stressed and eventually get puffed (kembang). For general usage, anything above 40C should be sufficient (1/10 on road/ light off road). For heavier and more powerful 1/10 offroad and 1/8 offroads, it's advisable to use at least 60C. Do ask if you have any questions
