waht kind of service are you looking for?
I was planning to use their service at first in my office at Phileo 1, but then did not as their services did not suit my company.
Can't really remember the details clearly...

Wow. I can't believe they're still alive.

I used EB (E-buildings) back in November 2001 (256kbps for RM 99). Lots of downtime back then. During the 3rd week of using EB, their switches got stolen, so the downtime lasted for about a week. Then when it rains will have lots of problems. I still remember calling up their helpline all the time just to ask why I couldn't get online.

Maybe EB has improved now that it's 2005.

Why mcmc keep issuing license to small company. Cant they issue a license to a big company that really will make the market more competitive.

Because the big ones are not interested..or cant be bothered.. biggrin.gif
But at least we have some alternatives, rather than stucked to
TM or JARING.. Hopefully, competition will bring values to us
consumers..

These small companies/ISPs will not be enough to challenge the broadband market lah... We need really big players which can create a significant impact, but I am sure they won't be able to get the license haha!!

I dont intented to talk bad about this EB but it's reallyyyyyyyyy bad.

My office is at phileo 2, damansara and we have used EB for 2 years. I tell u... it's a nightmare... often DC and when u called them, it's a soft-spoken girl whom always say the same thing 'My engineer is working on it'

Guess what, I never received any followup from them.

Recently, my company have switched to Jaring and it works perfectly for us. Go for Jaring instead of EB for those whom stays near seksyen 16...

Trust me... it's from experience !!!

last time, my connection always down from 6pm to 12am, after 2 months i having this problem, how many times I call them already.. when i calling them just listen music(waiting).... waste money to call them.

EB network architecture is 1 building giving 1 IP, and then whole building sharing the 1 connection....
can BT... this is good news for whos like to BT(q ok)

but no port forwarding... no FTP, or hosting allow.....

and need to use their special modem or convertor, last time I buy is RM180.... dunno now is how much.....

dun use this service unless you have no choices. the services sux, speed sux, price expensive..i cant see anything good about it. internet always down. it uses special network card that has RJ11 port to use. if you want to use RJ45 cable.then you need to buy a special converter that will cost you RM180 for one.

i'm using this service in danau idaman condo because no choice. there have no streamyx.

Thank you , ryoko2505

Umm , from what I see they are using gblx is their backbone (http://www.gblx.net/xml/index.xml). Pretty impressive. It seems that their line goes from Malaysia to US and back to Malaysia. I think their international line is pretty good. I heard many things aobut gblx

Could you also do a traceroute and ping to www.google.com

Pretty good ISP , I guess

The Line really looks great and the latency is somewhat better then JARING. The backbone provider does really rock. But I think the service is 'okay'
