hi, thanks for reading this thread.
i am new to this thread and had tried to read all of the relavant thread here but still not understand well.
Now i am planning to set up and upgrade ICE for my old car which used a sony cheap Head Unit to push 2 front 4 inches speakesr, 2rear 6x9 speakers
this is my plan

i already bought the speaker
woofer GT 5 12 inches- imitation
component set 607c-imitation
with my old rear 6x9 speakers
HU= sony Xpload 52w x4 (may be upgrade to better one later once budget allow)

now i need all sifu's help to choose an amplifier

can i use a single amplifier - w4 channel too push all speaker?

U cant use the 4ch to push all those stuff including the woofer. U need another 2ch or monoblock to push the woofer.

You have 4 amplification channels which will can be used to run your component set & your sub (in bridged mode)....

You CAN'T run you rear fills together with only a 4 Channel amplifier...

Suggest you run your rear fills off your H/U....

i see. mean i need 2 type of amplifiers, class a/b and D?
but getting 2 is out of my budget... sad.gif

thanks for great suggestion
from my back of my HU, i noted there is adapter directly to subwoofer, one to a pair of rear speaker, a pair of front speaker, and a pair of tweeter.
if i buy 4 channer amp, how to join(especially the wire to tweeter)
