i'm not an iphone user, i'm in US n plan on getting a 2nd hand iphone 4s here. Seller said the phone is on Verizon 5.1 version. am i able to use the phone when i back in KL ? can be unlock n jb ?

i read from the front 1st page, there is a method to unlock using SAM but first have to JailBreak it first only can use the SAM. Will this work ?

will the phone able to jailbreak without a sim card insert into the phone?
