Pod2g has tweeted that it is now safe to upgrade to 5.1.1 (if you set is factory unlocked of course and you do not need the unlock). So the jailbreak is close.

what will happen to all my jailbroken apps when I update to 5.1.1? will all the apps gone including the app bought at app store?

after jb-ed i will install back

u can always transfer ur cydia app to itunes.. then restore it back dont you?

Cydia apps yes u cannot but normal app still can save in iTunes right? Then can restore back

i using aptbackup for cydia(cydia free apps)
but i didnt try restore
what i read the backup will backup when u backup from itunes
n can restore back after restore from itunes

For me is a lot easier cos I only use activator from Cydia so even I need to redownload it's not an issue.

Added on May 22, 2012, 8:59 pmPod2g got so many pattern. Other ppl already release untethered jailbreak lor... Check out the link below. But need to pay. Free version shall be release this Friday... Finally they wanna give a firm date. Thanks for the Russian hacker @legerov

Ya I know. I mean thanks to the Russian hacker if not him release the paid version the developer also don't wanna reveal when to release the freee version. Just keep spamming at twitter... tongue.gif
