the tweak will gone when u restore your phone, so if u update to new iOS and jailbreak again, u need to do all of those stuff again... no other way..

install syscleanpro 1st from cydia

install mobileterminal as well

run mobileterminal and type : su

when asked for password, enter ur password, default is alpine (if it still alpine, then your phone is actually un-secured btw)

after pass the password prompt, type : syscleanpro

just follow the step by step guide provided,

when done, reboot...

u also need to activated properly using SAM to get iMessage and Facetime to work..

uninstall all tweaks and add-ons from cydia, and see how it goes,

also for 1st precaution, try to run devices in safe mode, if no freezing happen, mean the problem caused by mobile substrate add-on from cydia (hopefully this is the case)

if still freezing even in safe mode, mean your phone really need restore indeed and it will lost jailbreak...

those could be same font, but different version, that's why your one show SIRI Dictation icon properly while your friend one only show the weird sign, also happen to me with font that i used, it show weird sign till i update it, and become proper microphone sign..., but no bold in my case..

u shouldn't delete chinese keyboard if you use it..., . deleting syscleanpro won't help, since it just a script.. u need to get the file from another iPhone use that use chinese keyboard...

ask someone to check it inside here : /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework

try to get the chinese one..

What we need is a way to downgrade an A5 devices, with downgrade, whatever apple release, ppl can try it and downgrade later if it's not good enough or not jailbreak-able...

A5 user is not even able to do tethered one..., LoL

install SAM, go to utilities and choose de-activate iPhone (clear push) and revert lockdown to original,

after done, enable SAM, plug to iTunes, and wait till your phone activated..

reboot and re-install Whatsapp and any app that using notification...

if u r factory unlocked, u should check your computer host file and remove any entry that got gs.apple written on it...

if you using locked phone and depends on ultrasn0w or any sim card unlock, you should install SAM, de-activate your phone and re-activate it using SAM...

from what you said about no service, i think maybe your phone is locked phone and u update it without pre-caution...

u can try deactivate it again in SAM utilities, and then choose Restore Activation..

as far as Jailbreak still used as a bridge for pirating Appstore app, and unlocking carrier locked phone, apple won't stop this cat and mouse game, since they will lost a lot of developer and carrier support if they simply let it happen...

fix several bugs in the system, like airplay, appstore purchase, iPad networks switching, camera HDR , safari bookmarks sync, etc

not kind of fix that worth enough to lost your jailbreak.

not to mention that none of this bugs happen to me.. =b

for me, cydia saved my SHSH start from 4.0 till 5.1 even when i'm still using older iOS,

so yes it should save it for me,

but, sometimes it missed the thing..

using latest Redsn0w, u can take SHSH from cydia to be stitched directly to the firmware, thus, will be easier for you to do so,

using tiny umbrella, u still need to set your SHSH save location, as the default one is actually would be in hidden folder in normal cicumstances,

not really sure about this issue,

can try to turn off international assist in setting - phone - international assist

it's because on iOS 5 u need to set the APN for the tethering, since it won't detect it from your card becuase u use locked phone...

u can make custom profile for your carrier from unlockit.nz and install it, make sure u set correct APN for data connection and tethering...

this also happen with un-official carrier...

if you happy with PDAnet, just use it, hehehe

if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
