hmm, since flashing through cwm apps is safer, which file we extract to get the zimage? is it the odin one or cwm recovery one?

QUOTE(arslow @ Apr 24 2012, 09:00 PM) QUOTE(antt00 @ Apr 24 2012, 09:15 PM) Flashing rom definitely change the kernel. See if you got com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup-1.odex in data/app. if got then delete it and reinstall TB. oh. the gapps also? cause it seems i need to flash back gapps in order to use it and kernel after flashing rom. btw, i deleted the keramidas in data/apps but when i install, it says, i got insufficient storage. |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Apr 24 2012, 10:46 PM) yup. after that, i delete the whole data file cause it's empty already inside. n i tried rebooting n wipe cache n dalvik. but still no luck. so wiping the whole phone is the only solution?Added on April 24, 2012, 11:22 pm QUOTE(arslow @ Apr 24 2012, 11:17 PM) I think its best you start over. Did you flash any siyah kernel newer than rc6 b4? maybe ur mounts are messed up. I dont see the problem of full wiping since I can be up and running in about 30 minutes, so I suggest you to strt from scratch. Or maybe just try factory reset?clear all ur apps and start again to install. Maybe u can first try with netchip kernel, restore everything, then only flash siyah. Impossible to have problem then!! nope, i just flashed the latest rc6 only. i'm thinking of factory reset. but the game that i play got score in it n i havent back up using Tb. i don't want to replay everything again. >,<This post has been edited by Angelpoli: Apr 24 2012, 11:29 PM |

will wait till next hydrogen update n flash it. if still can't solve the insufficient storage issues, looks like full wipe is the only solution. TT btw, is it normal everytime i reboot, the android is upgrading-optimizing apps x out of xx thingy pop out? is it normal for every 1804 user cuz i don't face this during 1404. thanks.

QUOTE(SilverCrimz @ May 7 2012, 11:47 PM) flashed hydro 5/5 version. so far no issues though i realize i flashed the old gapps instead of the new one. can i reflash the new gapps again without wiping or its not necessary to do so. yup, u can flash the new gaaps over the old gaaps. flashing gaaps is just like flashing kernel. remember to wipe cache n dalvik can edi. |
