What to worry?
Last time my Vios I modded:
1. Front bar, front lowered arm bar, anti roll bar, rear boot bar
2. Grounding
3. Voltage stabilizer
4. Open pod
5. M7 Em-con unit
6. Silicone hose
7. Alarm
8. Air con filter

I can even claimed the most expensive part which is the sterling rack for free

If want to be strict, even u change a rim they also can void your warranty..
*
u really my sifu.... because i read the us manual and the SA also tell me if u miss any service, they will void the warranty.. so i worry.. actually im thinking to service my own once i got mine.. but 9xk car if got anything happend then repair is kao kao one...

btw, do you service your own vios before claim that sterling rack?

RHB offer me 2.4% for 85k 5years... for those who like to know.

Sent my car to bangi toyota service today, while on the road i just realise i did not have the address... i called toyota 7x24 assist to ask for the address, and the officer told me wait... i wait for almost 3 minutes, and the fellow tell me it is in seksyen 7 bangi, but when i look at the GPS, it is in seksyen 10. i choose to trust my GPS and wala... it is in seksyen 10. while arrived, i ask the staff there, they said seksyen 7 is the sales office... (wtf...7x24 assist dont know where the service center?!)

1st service i been politely explain about the part to exchange, motor oil, gasket rubber, oil filter.. i ask them dont put the winshield fluid, they said ok. I have been routed to the customer waiting room to have a cup of free teh tarik and nasi lemak. while my car jack up, i request them to let me see my car ekzos got rusty or not... they said for safety reason, by right im not allow to do so, but the manager accompany me to look on my car. luckily, i dont see any rust, but the manager told me the ekzos rust is very normal, because that part is built by plain steel, even camry also will get rust as well. he also said the ekzos bring alot of hits, and even it been with the antirust cemical, after it in hot and cold enviroment, it will get rust one day.

becoz this is the first service, i got a free car wash. the service + car wash took me 1.5 hours. when i collect my car, the bill is RM107.50. I asked them why the motor oil is charge 4 little, they said they only have a bottle one, so the charge is based per bottle.... (i saw from this forum that the PJ one count by litle.) after the payment, i go collect my car, i found out the car bumper is not clean, still got alot of dirty water there.. the staff there told me.. "mungkin ada lori lalu tadi", im thinking.. wtf... yr service center where got lorry?! fine... that is free one, i dont want to argue much... I checked the motor oil bottle, inside is empty one...i quickly walkover to ask the staff, the staff told me all "sudah masuk 4 litle.." my previous car only used 3.2 little.. this prius c need 4 litle? the manager come over and said will show me a serive booklet and it do show 4.2little is require. im not very sure the car really need 4 little of motor oil.. according to this forum, pj branch only consumed 3.7 little (with gasket exchange). May you comments?

btw, the manager is very helpful and professional on handling the customer.

Mine is squeaking sound. Not from the tyre.

I just pumped petrol yesterday. 25litres for 714km. May be my daily journey is smoother than yours. PJ>Shah Alam in morning and back in evening.
*
Which petrol brand you using? mine almost 40% of the road is smooth, i already tried my best to drive on the EV situation, and usually i got 28KM/L at least.. suppose i should have 896KM for 32 litres.. but look like the meter is not so accurate

actually the rear sound not really from the tyre... seems to be somewhere after the tyre start spining..

Sent my car to Toyota SC to check on my rear tyre.. when we do a test drive, the sound did not come out... it is a luck?

After my first service, my FC getting alot better, 2 bar of petrol (should be 8 litres) can drive 280KM. compare the b4 the service only can drive 700km for 32litre

found out my battery cover got 2 clips is missing, went to the toyota sales office to complaint, and they have replace it for me.. i suspect the Kastam open up the cover.

the one i change on my 1st service is 10-30W premium motor oil. the oil is very water based, if you take out the motor oil level tester, the oil will drop like a cooking oil. but cooking oil is more sticky.

will only change syntetic oil on my 10k service

I don't think it would be possible unless that person on the outside had the spare key fob, unless I misunderstood your question. Do you mean:
1) key and driver are both inside
2) driver locks door from inside
3) someone from the outside tries to unlock the door (using another spare key fob or what? or just trying to unlock by holding the handle?)
Is anyone missing any caps that hold the carpet material on the back trunk door? I just looked at mine and I'm missing one doh.gif
In any case it isn't doing much harm, I just hate visually looking at a missing piece... and if I am up to it I will probably go so far as making an epoxy mold out of one of the caps heh.
*
i have a missing clip on the 12V battery cover. i report to the toyota sales outlet, they said i broke it... wtf... btw, the sales center willing to replace it for me

i suspect the missing thing is caused by the kastum inspection.

usually for car tank their design is not flat .. that why a lot of car from full to half for instance can drive 300km but from half to empty only 150-200km .. bcause the tank they have to design like a cone shap for the fuel to flow to pump .. hope u understand
*
thanks for the details, i drove car for 15 years already, now only i aware.. unsure.gif

no wonder last time my half tank only can get a short millage.

sorry to post my boring report, i got 31km/l today (drove 50KM+)...

tried something different today, i put N gear when sliding from hill, the speed if put on D with pedal released, my car will at speed less than 88kmh, but if i put N, my car can go to 100+kmh.. with this methods, it sound dangerous, but i achieved better mileage and speed

like what pc manual said, if in N, car battery wont charge, even you press the brake, the brake pad will attach the disk directly, and the generator will not kick in.

Pumped 32L and 'Cruising Range' shown only 692km. Is that normal? Read someone has higher 'Cruising Range', like 850km after filled? hmm.gif
*
my first tank also get 690KM+-, 2nd tank after services is getting better now, 690Km but still left 3 bar of petrol. road i drove got 40% on traffic jam. 850KM i think can only get it on purely highway

for me, driving a long distance, usually i get 28km/l, short distance i get 25km/l. my driving style is startup the car with EV as much as i can, driving EV is not fun on driving. you will see at least 3 cars at your back showing a signore to cut your lane. i do not drive my car in cruse speed, when that's not much car on the road, i will drove 70kmh, this speed will still able to sustain in EV.

driving this car is not easy, even it made to be easy to drive. but utilize the technology on the car you have to sacrificed alot of driving fun.

i still doubt the speed meter on the car, i tested my GPS and compare with the speed meter. PC giving -6KMh compare to the GPS... anyone can test the speed meter? eg you can drive together with another car, and 2 cars driver engage on the phone to update and compare the speed each other.

if the speed meter is wrong, the the ODD mileage could be wrong as well.

agree on keanutan and GaretLim comments, i actually hate to drive like old man and it is dangerous if drive too slow on the highway. but my car still not reach 5000km, so i will drive on that way at this moments, after my engine clean of the industry dust. i will press the pedal harder (alitle bit)biggrin.gif

i only tested a short distance on normal mode. found out the pickup and power much better, but engine use up on most frequent.

this car is fun, when u want power, u can have power, when u short of money, u drive like ah pek. if you want to play game with your self, u switch up the ranking screen. that's so much games in this car, why we just play in one single mode? my target now is to achieve 32KM/L.

how the hell u get the 26km/l can let me know what is ue speed and ur throtle on eco score ?

mine very hard to get past 22km/l
*
if u check my past record screen, i drove 29km/l average. my eco score not very good actually... 84 usually...

I drive 70-85 kmh along mrr2 and besraya highway. some traffic jam point help me alot on the fuel score.

and... i rarely press my pedal to PWR, and my EV mode usage per trip around 24%.
