Hi guys, i just received a call from my SA saying that My wife's car will arrive next 1-2 week. It is in aquA mica in color. My plans for this car are:
1. Change the rim to a better looking rim and lighter. Im planning to bring the luggage weight scale to the rim shop.
- is it true that lighter rims are better in term of FC?
- changing the rIm will void the warranty?
2. Go for tinting - this is normal i guess
3. Called rexxstyling to install trd bodykit 3k for replica and 4.5k for original
- any issue to go for the replica trd bodykit?
4. Should i buy the 3k navigation from toyota or any other aftermarket navi/player?

Hopefully you guys can guide me on this.

I just paid the full downpayment for my wife aqua mica PC. My SA told me that the car can be collected next Friday.

i called flyaudio(flyaudio.com.my) for the pnp navi player. The cost including reverse cam is 3500. 2y warranty
Why i dont go for toyota navi (pioneer)? I need to wait n maybe i wil miss my chance to drive that car next week. This flyaudio looks better though

Then i called rexxstyling for the replica trd bodykit, the kit will arrive in sept. if u pay now in full to book, 500 discount. So just 2500 instead of 3000. If u go for ori, 300 disc. So just pay 4500 instead of 4800.

Hey guys.. I got my aqua mica today. Really happy with it. Just finished tinted the car and tomorrow will go for rim change.

My wife likes this rim like in the picture. It is 15" and lighter than the stock rims. As this is her car, i dont dare to disagree much. Anyway, i kinda like it too as it looks simple and lighter.

Any comment?

sorry to jump in but I think if you do not go for any rejection heat tinted, then there is no point to install one. UV protection is something else but you really need to consider your interior protection and also the great feeling when you get in into your car after parked it a whole day in open car park.

I would recommend you to go for the highest rejection heat as possible. Sahara-X is not that expensive with 93% rejection heat but it is not a security film. At least it comes with 8 years warranty and I dont think we will drive the same car after 8 years. However, if you go for both security and rejection heat, then the price is sky high.

you will feel the total different between 93% rejection heat with the one without.

For me, any brand is OK as long it has high rejection heat.

We might not want to prolong this topic as it is quite a general topic and I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere in this forum.

Highest range of sahara-x is just rm1400. I installed it on my 2009 bmw 325i m sport, 2011 volvo xc60, and none the less 2012 toyota prius c. For me, i can feel the difference. Just that jpj might disturb you if you use the same for front windshield. Again, with 8 years warranty, if u still feel the heat, you can just change it anytime

I put the 1 with 85% rejection heat. A bit greyish color i guess. Around 800
