Today I saw one prius c supposingly be our member in pj, nearby to a taman in ss2 there around 4.40pm. Black mica no plate JNN. Siapa tu? Cos I'm driving silver colour prius c and he saw me and highlighted at me.

I'm single. Living alone in a condo in KL. Thus I feel very practical in term of space, power, and especially fuel consumption. The space is more than enough for your daily usage inclusive of mega shopping. The power, I able to make 150 on highway from penang to KL. The torque for this car is pretty high, to me its depend on ur right feet. Whether u r willing to press on pedal or not. If u r willing to do so, then vios pick up has no match with this car. Engine is silent. The best part is when u r cruising in carpark or the street, people be watching at u cos they get shock when a car cruising without any sound. There is once an uncle who drove a brand new bmw 5 series approach me while I'm in a shell petrol station in bangsar and ask me why ur car has no sound when u r driving into the station. And they get a shock from my answer when I tell them I can make min 600km for rm60 pertrol. Haha. After our conversation, he said he gonna get one too for city use. Hahaha.

Haha. I also main tekan also. That's y my fc very low. Mine is silver. Penang number plate in KL. Lol. There is another silver 1 too living in ss2. But I think its aunty drove it if I'm not mistaken. So don't highlight the wrong 1. Hahaha

Any way to disable the DVD lock function when handbrake is activated?

I drove at SS2 this afternoon around 1pm, saw an orange Prius C was driving pretty fast. I also saw quite a few Prius C these few days, looks getting more people driving it.

This Prius C is Taiwan version, the guy put the watermelon on the passenger seat and car keep beeping to alert him to put the seat belt on the "watermelon"

i read somewhere that toyota ppl *can* enable it but will voids ur warranty...

The whole car warranty will be voided or just the DVD player?

i suppose its whole car warranty. usually the maker will say u touch anything it will void whatever warranty.

i know that some of the mods are overlooked (like changing rim size, changing default audio player) but if they want to , they can invalidate entire car warranty, its in the fine print somewhere... i heard one kes a Prius owner bricked his car because the kedai miswire his subwoofer and shorted out the electrical system of the car until it cannot start at all.

I'll getting my Prius C on this coming Monday.By the way,is there anyway I can disable the fasten the seat belt warning sound?

i think its a very useful feature to remind us to buckle up, personally i cannot see why it should be disabled.

i used to unbuckle about 500m from my house. now becos of this, i unbuckle sometimes at 100m, and generally i unbuckle when the car stops.

Actually I am too! I think Tuesday or Wednesday the latest but I am positive Monday. I guess the only way around the seat belt warning is to wrap the seat belt behind the seat (but of course this is not recommended since seat belts are important for safety ). I do understand how annoying it is though, I have to deal with that everytime in another car I drive. I don't think there is a user option to disable it afaik.

I'm thinking of changing to another brand 2 din player.I like to watch movie when I'm driving or stuck in a jam but also worry after installing it will void the warranty and also worry the car electronic system goes kaput because of wrong wiring.My SA advice me,if i want to change to another player,better get the ones with wire socket(plug and play,no wire cutting).My question is,do i have stop the car and pull the handbrake then only I can watch movie?Can someone just enlighten me on this?

haha.. my comment if you really want to watch movie. Get an ipad which is much cheaper and bigger screen and buy a car holder for ipad ^^ . I dont think the Car AVN touch screen is good enough though ^^ .
