It will be crazy to wait for 6 months, are you ordering a Exotic Sport Car? Or a plane? This could be one of the marketing strategy to show Prius C is hot cake.

We only know the number who booked/order it. but we don't know the number cancel the order/booking.

This is just proof their Supply Chain is suck. Or the big drawback in JIT system (Just In Time).

With the long waiting time, you just give customer more time to make decision & seek for better option. Some more the new Hire Purchase Act, our booking must be fully refund if we cancel.

I heard a Showroom in KL have ready stock, called my friend said no need to wait. Seem they desperate for sales. So how you explain this?

Remember this is a 100k car, not a cheap local car which much easy to sell.

Anyone considering changing their road runner sounding car horn by themselves? I get the feeling most Malaysian drivers will be immune to it lol.

2nd batch allocation list has been out. too bad i still have to wait till no body business

Oh.. who get the second batch. Seem there is alot of Prius C in Malaysia and yet i still to see one myself except for test drive car.

SA say car arrive on monday.
hopefully on monday itself i manage to get my car after registration with jpj

so lucky u fall on the batch 2 buyer... i booked early March, but not my turn yet...

i booked end of feb. supposely early april should get my car adi but SA gave to other client with excuse say loan not approve yet. but he is the one arranging all these for me ma. made me waited till may...hmmpt

Why my sa never tell me which batch? I called up my sa they only tell me roughly next week coming or first week of may. Is there any other way for us to call up umw to check when is our car expected to arrive?

I would like to know this too.

PS - Is this the first person to encounter a real problem with their Prius C? I want to know what the actual root of the cause is (besides what they gleaned from diagnostics).. guess we gotta wait till they get it back.

Tips & Tricks:
If you want to have all doors unlock (as opposed to having the driver side or passenger side unlock when you approach from either side) just hold down the lock and unlock button simultaneously (there will be a beep, wait for it) and it should have all doors unlock when you unlock from the driver side
