tested the car last saturday. dont really like the car interior, especially the original HU. the car pickup is slow, but i understand that it is a hybrid car, not some fancy sport car. the engine  is really loud when it picking up in the cabin which is really irritating. didnt manage to try cornering as the test drive is only a short stretch of straight road. one thing i really like is the smart entry! no need to press any button to unlock the car door! there is a sensor behind the door handle to detect your hand to unlock the car! overall impression, it's a good car but the price tag is not justifiable IMO

hybrid cars are like durians, either u love em or hate em.

but this car is far from loud. with the air con off, it could drive past the bersih rally unnoticed.

i drove a ford fiesta and toyota yaris before. I am comparing the pickup with these two cars when i saying it is slow.

when balik kampung i need to drive through windy roads in pahang, so comfort ride when driving through the bends at moderate speed is important to me. doenst mean that i must take the car to sepang to race.

have not tested proton preve yet, so i shall not comment anything on that car yet

Never criticise PC when Keanutan is here..he juz love PC too much...haha...a lot ppl out ther criticise PC back ass n interior ugly..in fact it is..but once u drive it (do not judge it onli by test drive) u wil love it that even a VW Golf GTI beside you vroom vroom oso u wont pandang, coz in my heart, so wat!!!bcoz petrol station is always in ur sight but out of my sight!

want to report you guys after my first service, i drove 280KM on first 2 bar, and today left half tank, accumulated 480km... meaning to say, the petrol meter also not accurate, i thot i can get 140km on each bar, which suppose i get 700km for half tank .

today i achieved 30km/l for 53km drive.

For all company Hybrid Car, Prius C are the TOP Ugly car. I get back Petrol more better than this car. I never Buy this car

I thought government is selling the AP for 10k each?
May be this is for open AP but  not franchised AP

Depending how much you spend on fuel, the saving might not be much. However, lowering a re-occuring cost does make a difference for me at least.

Previously I drove to work everyday, daily toll charges that I paid is RM 6.40 minimum depending on which route that I take. Every week I would spend minimum RM 50 for the fuel to go to work.

Then early last year I bought a bike, RM 20k cash. The best investment I made, now I only need to refuel RM 18 for every 6 working days. So for a 5 working days a week, I reduced my weekly expenses from RM 82 to just RM 15.

Not only that, now I can also leave home the latest at 7.40 am to clock in before 8am compared to leaving home by 6.50 am previously when I drove to work. I also don't to worry much about excessive accelerating and braking since the fuel consumption above is already with high acceleration and braking.

Checked and confirmed the open AP fee is 10k.

The actual market value is at least 40k

These 2 are exempted from paying the AP fee:
"(a) the replacement and extension of import licence; and
(b) an import licence for the replacement of quota allocation"

meaning all the franchised AP holders.

Or else, we will pobably have to pay another 20K for our PC, 10K for the fee; another 10K for "processing fee".....

Did i see it wrongly? It was RM 3500 back then down to RM 3000 and now RM 2500? 

Drive motor is safe fuel but its dangerous, so many car bully outside, they just dont care and crash you like that. Our life is valuable than rm8k

How comw everyone can get 690KM+ for full tank.As for me,I can only achieved max is 630KM after been driving for 2 months.Most of the time I drive normal seldom speed.

Normally from full tank until the fuel warning beeps i can get about 610-620 KM.Is that normal?

Prius C full tank is 36L, if only 1 bar left, it means the tank has at least 4L left, hence, you FC is 610/32 = 19KM/L, a bit low compare to average Prius C FC which is 22KM/L

for me, driving a long distance, usually i get 28km/l, short distance i get 25km/l. my driving style is startup the car with EV as much as i can, driving EV is not fun on driving. you will see at least 3 cars at your back showing a signore to cut your lane. i do not drive my car in cruse speed, when that's not much car on the road, i will drove 70kmh, this speed will still able to sustain in EV.

driving this car is not easy, even it made to be easy to drive. but utilize the technology on the car you have to sacrificed alot of driving fun.

i still doubt the speed meter on the car, i tested my GPS and compare with the speed meter. PC giving -6KMh compare to the GPS... anyone can test the speed meter? eg you can drive together with another car, and 2 cars driver engage on the phone to update and compare the speed each other.

if the speed meter is wrong, the the ODD mileage could be wrong as well.

I have tried run parallel with my civic b4. Same 80kmh. So the speedometer is same with other car. No worries bout that.

I would like to share my experience in fc
After almost 2 month of driving PC, I m delighted I bought this unit due to the design of the hibrid is so sweet.
1st 2 week I drive like a noob. Ev on initial and the car pick up damn slow, then till road with more car I started the engine. Running around 65-90 with maintaining the Eco score on the 1st row... I get around 20-22 kml

Then due to I fed up with the pick up I started new technique with "push & glide" (or something like that). Get better. 22-25kml

Now after 2 month I already stop looking at the screen to monitor my FC.

I started using summary screen so that I won't looking at the screen too often. I started drive like normal car. Push the car to 60 with heave press. Then release all and press slightly and increase speed to 100-110.
On my way to work I was on downslope I normally get 25kml at least. Back to my home I can get 22 at least.

Conclusion, the magic is u should actually drive PC like a normal car. It is configured to suite our normal driving technique instead we learn to drive PC. Then u will discover that Is why I luv it on fc. Like iPhone. No special skill is needed.

Of course everyone fc is diff. Be minded that if u are cruising @ high speed with low distance u definitely get lower fc. Sweet spot of speed is around 60-100 sure can get 25 above.

Lastly my fc improve after 2000km

Just enjoy your ride. There is no need to run too slow.   

I understand my fc is normal. But if u want me to drive like an 80yrs old lady and get 35kml fc. I rather ride bicycle.   

What I hate? Hm...
1) the spacing of leg room on the rear seat where the batt is placed. It make the space smaller (although it give the impression of longer leg room facing front but actually taken space on the heel of the leg) and it also caused this are is more easily scratch by passenger. Dirty la wei    
2) small car boot - unable to fit in my baby trolley    , unable to fit in >3 adult travel luggage.    
3) passenger seat also got seat belt alarm. Bising

I will add in if I can think of anything else.
