Confirm with Service centre, there is no Autolock for Prius C, I wonder why SA insist got Autolock- he is misleading and no knowledge of this car.
Rm109.80 for 1st service and they fix my rear seat pillar cover, which not properly installed earlier.

Hi. I can confirm there is auto lock. My car with default autolock during delivery. During my 2nd service i ask the SA at Sec 19 PJ to have a look. He double check with the technician and they confirm it is able to reset. Look for Ahmad Asbar the SA at Sect 19 PJ. Hope will help.

Added on June 29, 2012, 10:58 pmHope the autolock issue is closed. The technician just went for training and prius c autolock can be set on or off at SC. However, for the bigger prius there is no this function. Salesman been told initially there is no autolock function for the PC. So a lot of misinformation here...
*
lol I think I better check with SC again next time of service..

I went up to Genting, well the power & handling is there. The battery going max when going down hill.
Try B, slow down the car without having you to depress the break hardly; the rev sound u can heard as normal
car.

PC is good car, for those love enviroment, lower carbon, save oil, u might need to pay for the battery, and i prefer to save now rather than in future; that's why I choose this car smile.gif

I thought that I'm the first one who got hit by a stone on highway. Planning to get the rear door repainted soon coz I afraid that it will get rusted.

UMW qouted RM550 for the job, quite high but I'm afraid that there will be colour unmatch if painting is done esle where.
*
the colour will not 100% same, although is same code of colour; because the older paint already expose the the sun, tear & wear.

I bought PC; 3 reasons
1) I don't like the smoke smell every time i start the engine in front of house(the risk of having lung cancer/brain damage is less)
2) I don't pay much of petrol for now(money now power than future)
3) Nice ride: comfort(good for my kids)

Added on July 24, 2012, 10:41 pm4) I no need to go to petrol station to often

I have booked Aqua color with DVD-AVN in March. So far, I still could not get a firm delivery date for my SA. He could only say is probably in August which was delayed from June and July.  shakehead.gif

I begin to evaluate my option as my patience wane day by day. Anyone interested to grab my booking?
*
I know Ur feeling, I booked this colour since the first day they sell this colour, I manage to get it on early Jun, which I also very piss off with the delay. I hope you also will wait; as it is worthy to wait as this car damn good car wink.gif

Was wondering on the below, anyone can enlighten?

1) Can the DVD AVN display Chinese Wording?
2) Anyone manage to get their Video Playing work while driving? How you did it? Heard 2 version of it, one is to "CUT" a wire that will detect movement. 2nd is applying new firmware to it.
3) Anyone manage to get a nice quality carpet cut? Was quoted RM 150 for a normal carpet even though we only have 3 pieces all together.

Thank you.
*
1)-2) Im not using DVDAVN
3) I was quite surprise at first they(accessories shop) told me the custom cut carpet price ranging more than RM150; so I decided to get driver seat carpet rubber at econsave less than RM10 wink.gif

Ok, question for you guys. When are you filling up your fuel? At the indication of the first beep or what? I notice in my past fuel-ups that I was filling up the tank at 31-32L immediately after the first beep (give or take 200m at least). I'm guessing at any minimum there is *at least* 3L-/+ to use and your reach is slightly lengthened via smart EV usage. Now depending on how heavy your feet are, you can basically still get 3*16(km/L) = 48km
I'm sure it can reach near 80-90 depending on the road etc but there's no way I'd do that unless in an emergency situation hehe, but I did engage the trip B to track and I can safely say 8-10km is nothing to worry about, maybe I'll see if I can do another 10km more but I really don't like to run a car near empty. I am curious however of far it's real reach at that last blinking fuel bar is. If it can do about 80km++ max that is kind of cool. There's no way I won't be able to find a gas station by then hahaha.
*
I am also do the same; after first beep, i will try to find a nearest petrol station; full tank around 31-32l

I don't think it would be possible unless that person on the outside had the spare key fob, unless I misunderstood your question. Do you mean:
1) key and driver are both inside
2) driver locks door from inside
3) someone from the outside tries to unlock the door (using another spare key fob or what? or just trying to unlock by holding the handle?)
Is anyone missing any caps that hold the carpet material on the back trunk door? I just looked at mine and I'm missing one doh.gif
In any case it isn't doing much harm, I just hate visually looking at a missing piece... and if I am up to it I will probably go so far as making an epoxy mold out of one of the caps heh.
*
can you show us the missing part picture?

today I saw a Toyota Salesman as parking bully at Mahkota Cheras, with white vios + wearing white Toyota Staff Shirt; I am very regret with this type of attitude. UMW should train their staff to be more courtesy, while represent Toyota outside office

*
its not meow meow, or horn horn.
you can test by doing this:-
1)Arm your car
2)Stick your ear at the driving front side door.
3)Finally force open the door using key from your remote.
4)Be ready for OPPA Gangnam style smile.gif
