I just called by SA and again the answer is "dunno". I booked mine early April and until now still no news. Anyone has the same problem? Is it that Penang so overbooked or my SA help other to cut queue? Damn no mood already... might check out Jazz hybrid waiting time

The result of my complaint through Toyota website today: My SA called me and said Oct! WTF!
Penang got only 2 dealer.

The experience (even the imagination) of owning and driving Prius c is fun but i guess the long waiting time and the poor attitude SA and overall UMW customer service is definitely not fun for me...I'm beginning to get tired of waiting and listening to SA nonsense excuse for delays... now tiba tiba told me silver no stock because a lot of ppl ordered. Told me if I ordered white maybe get ord woh... but when i first book, the story is terbalik....

My bro from S'pore bought this (not sure if it is the same brand): http://www.kiramek.com/english/products/sciborg/TSL20.html

This is an auto-lock module for Prius Aqua (Prius c). No need re-wiring. Just plug in to the OBD port. Since there is a branch out port(edited: need to buy separately), this thing can be hidden and an OBD port still exist, just if you are afraid if UMW void your warranty. Our this unplug when send for servicing...

Added on July 5, 2012, 8:24 amTried calling another another dealer abt Prius c waiting time and was told that if I book now, only can get around Oct. Penang island only got 2 dealers. UMW and Prima Pearl (smaller showroom). My thought was the same as other forumers. I booked since Apr from the smaller showroom but still got to wait until Oct to get my car. Then wat's the different of book now and book Apr? Still get car by Oct. I really suspect the stupid SA helped others; who paid under-counter tips; to jump queue. Is this consider corruption???

Silver also not necessary faster. Booked Silver with DVD-AVN early Apr but still waiting... previous update from SC after I made a complaint on Toyota website is Oct. Now SC said should be next month after I follow up every other week. Now I think the excitement will not be so high anymore when getting my car because I have waited until tired.

Relatively speaking, the price is justifiable. I know it is still expensive compared to other countries. The price for a full specs PC in Japan is about 2.5million yen, or RM 102k. Even that, they only have 6 airbags. A basic unit costs 1.69million yen, or RM 68k with only 2 airbags, but without other features.
I know many people here are more happy to pay for leather seat, DVD, camera, sports rim, bodykit. Nevermind if the car has no good safety features because they are intangible. That is why the new Camry 2.5 has no stability control and yet probably will be selling like hot cakes.....

Just received call from my SC. I can only get my C in early Sep (last month said Aug). I booked silver colour early April. 5 months for a silver C. I suspect my SC allowed others to jump queue. Can I report this as corruption ah?

WTH! I booked Apr and can only get car on Sep. Now they are asking for more ppl to buy?! They should give the promotion to those waited more than 3 months first lah... Oi UMW, u hear me or not?! Just a Silver c take 5 months to deliver... Moreover the Sep delivery still cannot confirm yet... estimated only.
