i dun get it... i cannot get > 22km/L on hiway cruising at 90
now also in city driving, light footed, slow accel, also cannot > 22km/L on one tank as average.

wonder what SC will do cost till RM 682.20...

That's some expensive service... Dang... 20,000 need to spend 600++ already... And where's the 40,000 and 80,000 service? On the right most side?

For infos, the AV-DVD which comes with the PC is install by third party dealer selected by UMW. After discussed with my SA, I decided not to includes the AV-DVD (RM 2999), due to its price and the player wont play movie during driving. So my SA passed me the dealer number for me to install the same AV-DVD set @ their shop. This to make sure Toyota wont void my warranty. This is what I they offer me:

i) AV-DVD with GPS (papago) and reverse camera RM 2700
ii) AV-DVD without GPS but with reverse camera RM 1900
iii) AV-DVD with GPS and Reverse camera RM 1700

Actually their are 2-3 types of AV-DVD sets that can installed to PC.( You can choose which one you like cause the cost is the same) and  Its only took them less that 1 hour to install the set with camera.

They also told me that, the PC original bodykid TRD will arriving in 2-3 month and they hv contract with toyota to installed it. (Price not confirm yet, will inform to you guys after I installed it  )

When I drove my car to work for the first time, I was told by my colleague that the alarm went off for awhile, followed by continuous lights flashing. May be someone disturbed the car. When I went to check, the lights were still flashing silently. 
Nevertheless, I have not heard it. May be you can use the mechanical key to unlock and open the door. This will probably trigger the alarm.

I was checked with service engineer, they mentioned Prius c and Prius both do not have auto-lock.

My friend also claimed that even Mazda do not have auto-lock due to US ppl complaint and sue car manufacturer for safety reason when the passenger in emergency and locking system breakdown.

When received our PC, SA should have wash & clean for us. That is good enough, no need to wax.

Is better save your time & energy to wax another time.

I believe in 1st 3 month, just normal car wash is enough. Unless your car super dirty & need another protection.

Anyway, for those who have been using PC for quite sometimes, have u guys ever have to park under the sun? Do you think the car takes a long time to get cool in the cabin? I always have to pasang aircond almost to full blast a few minutes after parking under the sun for my vios..wonder if PC is easier to cool down.

I think ppl kept asking bout battery cause their only experience is with the AA or AAA batteries for their remote controller or the 12V in their regular car. Based on their "experience" both types of batteries will die quickly and hence their worry about battery longevity. They fail to realise however that the onboard comp regulates the rate the hybrid car charges and discharges the battery pack... hence the 20% min - 80% max charge which will increase the lifespan substantially. Prius taxis going 200k KM in new york and 500k km in Australia says a lot about the onboard computer's ability in regulating the battery charges and thus battery longevity..some might argue that the battery is different but if the tech behind the software is the same, doesn't it mean the longevity of the battery life may be extrapolated from the prius to the C? 

Agree with you. I current fiddling with the Toyota original AVN player from Panasonic.
That thing have build in accelometer assist GPS (very fast SAT tracking), Original Garmin which accept Malfree map (Junction view), DVD player, iPod complatible, clear/Fast BT connection and very nice original reverse camera.

The only bad side of this AVN is this is a specially made ASEAN version Panasonic player, which mean I need to find a good JTAG diagram to dump the rom and play with the data.
Samething as the ECU unit of PC. I might need to wait till Oct until I go Japan and find the Original Toyota software/Panasonic software. I WANT TO show Hybrid info on the big screen !!! The Japan version have it..

And the AVN is just RM2990, a same feature China made is easily 2300-2500 (They might not even MFi certified). Not sure why ppl want to save money on that thing. Original Garmin is already a plus over this

I have traveled about 900km since the last petrol re-fill. The tank still has 2 bars. Trip meter shows 29.7km/l.

Added on July 11, 2012, 10:17 pmI have been using my car for 3 months, thinking of waxing it. Can anyone recommend a good car wax ? Currently, I am using the "99" Brand wax for my wife's car. but thinking of getting a better one for my PC.

Ok, question for you guys. When are you filling up your fuel? At the indication of the first beep or what? I notice in my past fuel-ups that I was filling up the tank at 31-32L immediately after the first beep (give or take 200m at least). I'm guessing at any minimum there is *at least* 3L-/+ to use and your reach is slightly lengthened via smart EV usage. Now depending on how heavy your feet are, you can basically still get 3*16(km/L) = 48km
I'm sure it can reach near 80-90 depending on the road etc but there's no way I'd do that unless in an emergency situation hehe, but I did engage the trip B to track and I can safely say 8-10km is nothing to worry about, maybe I'll see if I can do another 10km more but I really don't like to run a car near empty. I am curious however of far it's real reach at that last blinking fuel bar is. If it can do about 80km++ max that is kind of cool. There's no way I won't be able to find a gas station by then hahaha.

Normally from full tank until the fuel warning beeps i can get about 610-620 KM.Is that normal?

just call toyota free phone.. they mention 2011 in the latest maps they have and supply by the supplier... if i want 2012 maps.. they will get on january 2013...

looks i have to find other alternative to replace the maps.. since the POI not as many as Malfreemaps ... need help from pro on garmin maps...
