Hi all, would like to check what grade of engine oil do you all use for your PC? Any difference in FC when you use W20 or W30 oil?

the one i change on my 1st service is 10-30W premium motor oil. the oil is very water based, if you take out the motor oil level tester, the oil will drop like a cooking oil. but cooking oil is more sticky.

will only change syntetic oil on my 10k service

Last week my sis car cannot start need to jump start, so I opened my Toyota emergency briefcase which comes with PC.
Take out the red n black wire.
Connect to her wira.
Come back to my pc.... Staring for 2-3 minutes. Drive another car for jump start.
I dunno where to clip the wire!!!

Anyone know?

Below your backseat. Same as your main battery. 2 clip to remove and u need remove the seat to firmly connect the buaya clip.

Try not to jump start with PC. The ECU of PC is directly link to 12V battery. It will fry if the voltage flow in wrong direction

After the warranty over in 3 yrs, will you all consider to service your car at outside service centre? Or stick to toyota centre?

QUOTE(SkyGig @ Jul 22 2012, 06:53 PM)
Maybe after 20,000km service i might consider service the car outside.
*
I already after 10k now, i will DIY again rclxms.gif missing the feel of DIY my own car with my friend again thumbup.gif

QUOTE(IluvProton @ Jul 22 2012, 06:58 PM)
I advice not to service outside if is hybrid car.
Hybrid car got alot electronic, which in malaysia. I don't think any outside got to skill to repair. They might disturb/effect your car while changing oil?

nvr know coz hybrid still very new in malaysia.
*
normal service won't touched any electronic stuffs....change engine oil, brake oil, auto gear oil, brake pad, filter etc etc normal service won't affect anything on the electronic unless you go and add auto lock, change ICE, add alarm etc etc...

Don't quite get it what you mean need special bracket to hold 2 horn, just remove existing horn, sure will have bracket there already, then put additional bracket on the existing one and add twin tone horn. I'm not sure how much space there is though, I have book my pearl white and will be getting it end Sep, trying to find out more stuff prior to collecting car. smile.gif

It has a electrical motor, but you need to press the switch manually. I do not consider this as auto.

no DIY. installed at accessories shop. not sure thick or not but cannot put side by side as it will block and prevent the bumper being installed back properly.

Sounds real hard, how much the installer charge you for that? Remove the whole bumper, have supervise closely to prevent scratches being done to our car paint.
