Saw my SA today, he showed me the list of cars arriving this month for their branch...mine's not included
By the way, he told me the TRD body kit is already available...gonna tempah and get it installed as soon as my car arrive (when ever that is). Its gonna make the car heavier right? Wonder if it will mess up the FC at all? Any thots? |

QUOTE(astronomer_me @ Jun 10 2012, 01:51 AM) Saw my SA today, he showed me the list of cars arriving this month for their branch...mine's not included I also booked mid of March. But I was told if I'm book other colour then Blue (silver, white, orange), I should get mine in May. Cause Aqua & Blue only arrived this month onward.By the way, he told me the TRD body kit is already available...gonna tempah and get it installed as soon as my car arrive (when ever that is). Its gonna make the car heavier right? Wonder if it will mess up the FC at all? Any thots? Perhaps you should shout to your SA & the manager. Probably the SA show room have too many orders. This the reason I don't like to goto those big fancy showroom which they have plenty of customers & SA there won't pay so much attention to customers. |

QUOTE(peterscm @ Jun 10 2012, 02:28 PM) The car was launched in Feb. Waiting period then was three months. You should have received your car last month. According to my SA last week, the waiting period now is 2 months. Apparently, people are jumping queue. |

QUOTE(alrasla @ Jun 9 2012, 08:38 PM) Not yet, I'm sending it in for service somewhere in the next two days and I will bring it up with them along with the nasty marks they put on my hood and some rubber part on the driver window that seems undone/not stuck in. Anyway, sorry haven't been able to participate lately because apart from driving around and doing other things especially while my internet was cut off since last Wednesday (yes it drove me crazy). Nice to hear about the TRD kit (I still want the Tommy Kaira one hehe). I've been trying to look for proper mats here but just can't find any (Sabah) for my Prius C. I'd also like to mention that suddenly there was an influx of Prius C's on the road since last week. Alot of white/gray ones, I've only seen one black, and I finally saw an orange one not too long ago (the easiest to spot heh). I think I have seen about 6-8 now, some driven by old ladies, some by middle aged adults. Lots of women though lol. I have a question for all you guys who have opted for the DVD-AVN. Which file do I need to get for the latest East Malaysia (malsing/malfree whichever one is compatible) map updates? Will this one work with the DVD-AVN unit? How much cost for the TRD bodykit for prius C? I'm still waiting until end of the year. If the trd kit available, can i switch ? or the bodykit counted as additional accessories?

QUOTE(lunchtime @ Jun 10 2012, 08:46 PM) When I received my new car, I was told that it had RM10 petrol. I pumped another RM61 to full. So total = RM71/1.9 = ca. 37 litres. FC for my PC is 26km/l. So, theoretically, mine should be able to travel 960km for a full tank.Added on June 10, 2012, 9:18 pm QUOTE(Salamander @ Jun 10 2012, 05:45 PM) Anyway, sorry haven't been able to participate lately because apart from driving around and doing other things especially while my internet was cut off since last Wednesday (yes it drove me crazy). QUOTE(lunchtime @ Jun 10 2012, 08:46 PM) When I heard the 1 or 2 beeps at the last flashing bar on the fuel gauge I pumped (ron95) in about 31.62L which was 60.10RM Previously the tank before that (when I got it from UMW) there was about 3 bars left and I pumped in around 48RM (don't remember how many L) and on that full tank I got about 782km's but I'll be trying to drive better on my next few tanks and also waiting for car to break in properly. QUOTE(engah @ Jun 10 2012, 09:13 PM) My SA gave me a set of nice thick mats. Very useful to trap dust and sand. I keep the thin original mats, which looks cheap.... Mind showing me pics of the mats you got Oh yeah I am not sure if my post got through last wednesday when my internet got cut off, but I wanted to remind everyone to *always* retract your side mirrors whenever parking because last week when I went to the movie I was telling myself I should've done that, instinct was telling me but I was saying "it'll be fine, the car is at least 1 open door away and can't reach and he's probably at the cinema too", but I was really wrong. Got a nasty scratch from some ******* hitting my side mirror, not sure how because the next car that parked on that side was also far away. Anyway I've learned that I should listen to my instincts more heh. The other problem I have is my cats that have now taken the liberty of sleeping on top of my car with muddy paws. I chased one of them down squirting it with water - I just hope it associates the squirting with "do-not-sit-on-car" and I don't want to make it bolt when it see's me and end up scratching the car. Oops, ok I forgot to add that the link I gave earlier for updating my DVD-AVN gps thingy seemed to work, now it shows me the updated malsing maps instead of the OEM NT 2010.42 version only. It seems you can also choose between that one or the old one of both. It was only a matter of copying two files gmapsupp.img to /garmin directory and product.JCV to /garmin/JCV directory on the SD card. Make sure to also enable writing to the SD card by toggling the little yellow switch on the side of the SD card. This is how I updated mine but please correct me if any of that information was wrong. Side mirrors, yes, I always make it a point to retract them, turn the engine off, and turn the side mirrors switch on it again so that when I turn on the engine the next time, the mirrors will move back and ready to be used. |

QUOTE(engah @ Jun 10 2012, 10:01 PM) Ok, I will try to take some photos and upload tomorrow. I know Ford Fiesta side mirror will auto retract when you lock your car. Probably Toyota can take this ideal to build in it also.Side mirrors, yes, I always make it a point to retract them, turn the engine off, and turn the side mirrors switch on it again so that when I turn on the engine the next time, the mirrors will move back and ready to be used. Wonder normally how you know & check your car is locked? Cause with the smart key, once you put your hand on the handle, it unlocked. |
