I have the photo of box for two different design, want to know how to differentiate or identify the imitate/fake and original Denso Iridium spark plug.

Picture below are taken for pack A and Pack B complete wiht the inner individual box, any master/sifu please help me to identify.

I think both are real juz tat they r selling in diff country... Juz my opinion...

i found some thread talking about it, but my set of plug box design abit different then what they mention there.

i only got plug for the package A

as far as i know the tip(where the plug cable connects) is supposed to be gold in color

i never see any normal plug cable connect place are gold in colour, event my stock spark plug come together with new car.

are we not talking about iridiums?

Juz fyi me also got Pack A.
Works fine...almost 10k Km now!

Package A is legit & the individual box packaging matches the official Denso Iridium box print, also got bling bling Denso hologram for external box.

Package B......is China imitation according to http://www.lelong.com.my/denso-iridium-pow...2-03-Sale-P.htm

Note that the Package B external box has faded yellow colour.

actual test is to try and sping the plug's head hardest as u cant. Make sure your hand can grip those plugs tho. If it is rotating even a small dimension, that wasn't ori. ori one won't move. i learned the harder way

ya i read this, but it mention the model number was stick on, but both of my pack are printed on box with the same font type and size.

by spinning the white colour insulation u means ?

BEWARE OF FAKE DENSO IRIDIUM POWER SPARK PLUGS FROM CHINA! Fake unit has a bolder text printed on both the box and spark plugs. The iridium tip is also darker in colour compared to the genuine. Quality of the part used to produce the fake is unknown therefore it may cause severe damage to the engine if used.

1. Fake box printing is slightly bolder. Product Identification Code uses sticker, genuine is printed on box.
2. Iridium Tips of fake unit is darker compared to genuine. Printing also bolder.
Using fake denso iridium spark plugs on performance engine may result in severe engine damage as the quality of the spark plugs tip & insulator is unknown. Breakage of the components is possible and will cause damage to pistons and valves.

So the seller also became inconsistent now
