By the way, just got my test drive and the sound (not sure engine or cvt) when moving from standstill is loud. Is that 'normal'? Others than that, GREAT!

i washed mine once a week. it is a 2K paint. i think is the same on Preve. so repainting wont cost as much as metallic colors after 3-5 years. when repainting time come, can upgrade the car look further n paint all in 1 go. maybe can go for pearl white oso. haha

i think about the sluggishness, Mat79 and others already explain in previous posts..
it's something to do with CVT setup for this Preve.

based on ppl feedback give to proton,i think those car that is still in production will come out with better quality,and my sa told me that ill receive my car in next 2-3 month,i hope when i get the car the quality will better...

About a month ago i test drv the Bold cfe - i was amazed at the smoothness of engine and pick up.

so i got really excited about the preve...

well since it came out i test drove it 3 times at platinum dsara, glenmarie and ss14

wasnt the same as bold it was must worse. how come?
felt sluggish and heavy, and suprisingly the test drive cars at all three centres had the door interior loose.

i felt very uncomfortable in the car...

i think that the design is the best i have ever seen better that civic, forte and sylphy. so i am so dissapointed that i could not buy this car. Anyone feel the same? also wondering do you think that proton would drop the cfe into the persona?

well, actually i bring along my friend who a qualified welding inspector during checking up the car at showroom.. he said that the weld look ok, coz if they weld around it rather than spot-spot, the material will berlubang..

then i post the same pics on my fb, and my friends who work at proton's production plant said:

Yes, booked before official launch because I've been waiting the car for a year.
Btw I felt that the SA don't want to layan me during the test drive coz i booked the car already.

I just cancel my Peugeot 308 loan and booking, stupid late from Nasim just for color take me delay more than a month CKD not CBU... 
how long your guys Preve deliver once loan approved?

test drive the car twice from different proton edars. first try was at Jln Sultan Ahmad Shah and the recent Sg Tiram branch.

Sorry to say but about the feedback about the sluggishness, it seems to be true. I'm using pug 308 turbo as a baseline for my comparison. Tried to floor down the paddle (at D mode) 1K-2K rpm, respond was slow and then at 2K the turbo kicks in. Could be CVT characteristics? Maybe proton need to tweak it to be responsive enough @ 1K-2K rpm on D mode.

Overall the car is good buy! Interior quality, it is very hard to explain, I don't get the quality vibe compared to Vios or City.

However, if you can live with the cons (proton's QC and SC) and your affordability is 73K range. Preve is a good family sedan car compared to the outdated Vios J.

Well, I still don't know why ppl still buying Vios even though it is very outdated. I guess it is branding, overall reliability and best SC.
