QUOTE(mat79 @ Apr 25 2012, 10:36 AM) i think me or any protonian if any, never mentioned bad things about other products. What i mentioned about dsg thing in vw also, not a bad thing, but just pointed out the same thing happened to prtn, suddenly it become bad thing. Thats all. The comparison just for mere benchmark, not even mentioned any car for specific. If u go for any product training, they also mentioned the same thing, but sometimes, clearly mentioned specific makes. And my 1st hand is not based on hearsay my mate. Just trying simplify things in words that easy to comprehend. Ive also already given some info related to preve even before its been launch indirectly. Lets me explain to you a bit info officially i gathered from proton which u cannot google to find out the info. Just drop some info. It just tiny miny info i know, cant argue with many experts. Just enjoy. Do u know that, in order to sell cars in euro, u have to follow n pass so many rules of design n regulations. For electronics only, there are more than 40 rules n regulations that need to comply. For example, for custom ice system as in gen2, it must comply to european EMC requirements. Then, the head unit is designed and tested to meet manufacturers(like clarion, balupunkt n etc) design rules. The easiest is take on shelf design that already comply such in premium line. Front bumper system must built to meet uk's thatcham insurance requirementd using foamless bumper beam system made from high modulus poly propylene. While rear bumper system must passed GCC rear impact test-48kmh without fuel leakage. The beam pattern of headlights also must comply with the rules by using poly ellipsoid system(pes). Although total fuel tank capacity is 50L, functional tank capacity is about 47L. As additional safety feature, it is a bottom-fill design with one way shut off valve to prevent fuel spills in case of vehicle rollovers n cut fuels systems that will cut the fuel in case of collisions. The common 3 point collapsible mechanism in the steering column to protects driver by absorbing impact energy in 3 ways during collision.(also under regulation requirement). Handbrake lever also needs to comply with EEC requirements. Luggage instrusion stregth, seat anchorage strength, seatbelt anchorage strength also must comply with regulation requirements. Since satria neo onwards, prtn used double impact trapezoidal bars(gen2,waja, dual tabular impact beams) and side impct catcher helps to protect n prevent doors from being forced into cabin. Actually, starting from neo, prtn already adopt piller filler material technology at strategic area only, not all of course, coz if putting filler all around chasis, it makes it rigid a bit, but hard to cut to save the occupants during accidents. So, dont say i dont warn u guys on that. Thats why only put in strategic area only. Only the dampening material is less, depend on makes, but preve has quite a lot of dampening. For others, can try out vibramat dampening which available in prtn branch sc. For seat, even so many comments on that. Is not easy to design seat. it uses multi hardness foam moulding technology for secure support during highspeed and comfort and stamping cushion pan to eliminate submarine effect. Everything is tested, not just plug n play. A bit about ride n handling. Its actually many things covered under rnh, so, to simplify things which i oso dont understand, just take from internal data, rnh is about steering efforts, steering response, steering linearity, handling straight line, handling cornering, handling stability, body control, wheel control and ride comfort. This including aero design which not only help in reducing fc, but also handling ability. People always talk about coefficient drag(cd), but rarely people touch on front coefficient lift(cl). The combination of good cd(preve 0.30) and cl (0.01) gives good high speed tracking and high speed vehicle control. The rear diffuser used to help reduce cl, unless just cosmetic rear diffuser such in some cars. Negative things on really2 less cl, it will reduce top speed a bit, like case in neo cps, but it offers better stability. And about galvanized@anti corrosion treatment, it is called Advanced Electro-Deposition Total Immersion Anti-Corrosion Treatment so, its up to you to say that it just hearsay. :-). Added on April 25, 2012, 10:37 ammy intention just helping those to understand better about punch cvt. But dont like it, its ok. Already give as much help i can. So, just chill ok. Salam. |

QUOTE(project68 @ Apr 25 2012, 08:52 PM) but if 3 month late i can get better car quality,no problem with me.I sked right now proton didnt do anything that ppl complain at some of their low quality making According to earlier debate, later batch production does not guarantee that it's a better version of this car. Nonetheless, since you no rush maybe in 2-3 months time u can give s your feedback here of how is it any different from all here that are early bookers.. |

Good morning guys...
QUOTE(dares @ Apr 26 2012, 12:43 AM) "I Like" QUOTE(dadurtyz @ Apr 26 2012, 01:04 AM) Agreed. QUOTE(K2002 @ Apr 26 2012, 01:13 AM) i dunno is it true or not he says need time around 4 hrs to 6 hrs. how many people doing also dunno why need that long time for new car. if i have old car got lots scratches and swirl then maybe need la but this new car also need that long period of time..hmmm dunno true or not must stand there or sit there 6 hours see them what they do. Read it in Sierra Glow's website. Its stated there. In fact, it takes long hours to complete not because of the condition of the car but instead, the very process itself is very time-consuming. Read it there & u'll understand more. According to past testimony Mr. Choong would gladly send u to the summit to loiter around for that period of time to pass bud QUOTE(K2002 @ Apr 26 2012, 01:16 AM) Yes i think need. after the rm 60 finish u need to put in money or switch off the device no need to use already. when i finish already i see if still can use maybe i use until rm 60 when the next month the new credit it just very fast finish cause it carry forward to deduct? not too sure..let see how it goes. Guys, maybe its just like the starter pack of mobile prepaid card. What we were given with is the sim card that will not expire until 1 year with the initial prepaid amount of RM60. That's why we still need to topap. Correct me if I'm wrong here brother dinwaja This post has been edited by Saya_Dhuang: Apr 26 2012, 06:54 AM |

QUOTE(dinwaja @ Apr 26 2012, 08:30 AM) u are wrong...YES 4G do not use simcard. just use Login ID and password.and a device (modem),for this,Huddle. actually u can login more than 1 device at 1 time using 1 ID...YES 4G has 4 devices; Go Dongle (USB stick modem) Huddle (what u get with Preve) ---> up to 5 users Buzz (4G smartphone made by Samsung) ---> single user, phone ma... Zoom (modem+wifi router) --> can be used more than 10 users..even 20users at 1 time... the given plan is prepaid..so i believe i've already explain for the plan....it charge u like these: 9sen/3MB data (uploading+downloading 9sen/min call 9sen/sms this plan called Pay As You Use @ PAYU...under PAYU,there is a minimum usage per month : RM30...but for this 12months (starting from the day u activated the plan),u dun have to think about that Rm30 minimum usage. as long as u use <RM60 per month,u dun need to topup...but if u want more saving, just topup another RM10 so that the total credit is RM68 or more,u can activate@purchahe Valuepack RM68...this VP68 come with 3.5GB of data+150min free calls+150free sms... starting 13th month onwards,u need to use at least RM30/mth if u still wish to use the service..or u can simply convert to their postpaid plans...u can refer to YES website for this.... hope this can clear everything regarding YES 4G... QUOTE(dinwaja @ Apr 26 2012, 08:43 AM) let me repeat again...if u finish RM60 in less than 1 month duration (billing cycle) and u want to keep using the service, then u need to reload. if u do not fully utilized that RM60,the balance will be carry forward to next month. Bro Din.u need to calculate how much u will be using.if more than Rm60,i strongly recommend u to straight away topup another RM10 so that u can get total Acc Balance more than RM68. with that credits,u can use to purchase Valuepack 68 worth of RM68....with PAYU,RM60=2GB of data only....with Valuepack 68 u get 3.5GB data+150min free call+150free sms...see the differences? Added on April 26, 2012, 8:45 am not useless..u just need to understand the system...for 12 countries...let say u go to oversea (in 1 of the 12 countries),u can use the application,YesLife, to call back to malaysia (landline or mobile)..the charge is still 9sen/min... I know it does not use sim card. That's just my analogy. So if the initial RM60 depleted already, we'll need to topup? If it does not, then the balance will be carried forward to the next month & the device will auto topup another RM60+the balance right? For example, we use only RM 30 in Jan than in Feb the thing will have RM30+RM60=RM90 laa. IS that correct? Added on April 26, 2012, 8:55 am QUOTE(dinwaja @ Apr 26 2012, 08:43 AM) let me repeat again...if u finish RM60 in less than 1 month duration (billing cycle) and u want to keep using the service, then u need to reload. if u do not fully utilized that RM60,the balance will be carry forward to next month.
