Actually saw one test car with front, back windscreen also tint, hopefully our car also come with full tint, meaning front back n 4 windows all tint.
*
My Persona SE came with 4 windows, front and back tint, so I believe Preve should have it too! biggrin.gif

Stone i don't think so. Scratch maybe. What I found out is that SG is really2 good for those who are lazy to polish/wax their car!  brows.gif

What attract me the most is the fact that SG will preserve the paint. Just have a normal wash & voila!

Secondly is the warranty of 5 years makes me think 600 is worth it.  icon_idea.gif

I can't get SG here in Penang, but I think PPS Teflon coating can get la... Can comment this PPS Teflon coating any good or should avoid it?

Found some info few days ago PPS one is also good, but u still need to go for check up every 6 months for 5 years. & that so-called checkup will cost RM100 each. Do the math, & u'll know that PPS charged u more since when doing it already paid 600. Checkup twice a year RM 200. Go to their centre for 5 years how many already you paid for them.

Well, that's what I found out lah. Unlike SG, no further check what so ever. If later you found there's a spot on your car that's left out from the coating, just go to SG. If after several wash your car lost its shine then go to SG. They'll fix it for ya within 5 years.

Many thanks for the detailed explain... biggrin.gif
Looks like this PPS quite high cost to maintain, I rather go waxing once in a while, haha...
Too bad no SG here...
Thanks again brother! smile.gif

A bit malu to tell you, I know ZERO about KL's road... shakehead.gif
Every time I visit KL, I go by bus <--- lame! sweat.gif
While in town, get taxi to go around <--- lame! yawn.gif
I have no confident with Preve's GPS yet, but hope I can one day drive to KL myself... blush.gif

Wah. He really don't want to make money one ah? People willing to dp first oso dun wan ah? sweat.gif
Anyone else we can call? I'm sure he's not the only one. Here we are, willing to give him custom, and he have to be like that. Really beh tahan la ppl like this.
Where else can do this SG thing? We initiate a bulk buy elsewhere and see if can or not.
*
The boss didn't know how Groupon works... laugh.gif

QUOTE(torres09 @ Apr 27 2012, 02:03 PM)
700 still acceptable to me. so we go alone separately?
SG actually is for those that lazy to wash and wax always. as I live in condo, washing is a hassle, not to mention wax. not to say SG liao then no need wash, but ppl say just water will do. so its easier for me. maybe once in 2 weeks only go car wash center.
another reason is.. my Preve putih ma, hard to maintain... want it look nice and new smile.gif
*
Haha... these are exactly my situation except I booked a Silver car instead of White. icon_rolleyes.gif

Bad news guys, i am suppose to receive my car today but turn out might be next week, reason given by my sa is proton recall preve for some technical problem n willing to lend me his company car in case u have transport problem. The technical problem wont take long, he even mention like tuning the ecu, n will get me inform later.
*
Bad news to you, indeed.... sorry to hear that! sad.gif

But that might be good news to some, and including you, because if it is real, you will get a "better tuned" car, right? icon_rolleyes.gif

Sometimes I'm not sure whether to trust SA's words? Could it be a unique excuse for the delayed delivery?

Maybe this "recall" is to re-weld the door frame? laugh.gif

component is cheap but will void warranty? Open up the panel will void power window warranty?
*
Although I do not have the answer to this question, but it reminds me of Lifetime Warranty of power windows by Proton as stated here:
http://www.proton-edar.com.my/After-Sales/...e-Warranty.aspx
No mention of Proton Preve, does it cover Preve as well? Maybe they haven't update their page? hmm.gif

For the case in Persona, I heard many people said the fan also act this way, continue spinning for some time after the car is locked.

But my Persona isn't act this way, only once after I changed timing belt recently and the mechanic not properly tighten some seal/screw so my radiator run dried and temperature runs high. Only this one time, the fan continue to run even I shut down the engine and removed the key. So what I guess is, the fan will only continue to spin when the temperature is higher than the set "safe region". Anyway, this is just my guess.
