noob question. when i pressing on pedal, do i need to "sook kiok" a bit when +/- using paddle shifter or gear lever? or is it like F1 just floor it and change gears like nothing?
sorry ar current car too low tech smile.gif

btw, where can I do coating for my White? how much does it cost and how long can last? any maintenance needed after coat? i like to see those white that shiny shiny not yellow yellow.

went for 2nd test drive yesterday. this time got a longer route..so managed to used paddle shift until 7th gear..around 130-140kmh..

this time i notice the "lag" that's been highlighted many times in this thread. but that is not a big issue for me. The power after 2000rpm is superb. Maybe when I own this car in the future (hopefully), I would accelerate in S mode before change into D. or even just drive it all the way with the paddle shift..which is more interesting. drool.gif

Overall..
+NVH was good. No much wind noise even at 130km/h.
+I'm not that concern on the FC too much, because it depends on how I heavy I press the paddle. If too concern on FC, then I should just buy a hybrid car.
+Sound system is good. Could be better if install tweeter.
+Rear legroom is superb even though the front seat position is pushed to the back

-The glove box locking could be better. a bit hard to close.
-The rain sensor is big..kinda irritates me looking at that big black portion on the windshield.
-Rear seat is a bit straight..like persona. Could be better.

How long it takes to deliver 2800? Assume that 1000 are ready for delivery?

my SA said now will have less potong q cos u need pay booking only they key in to order the car.
the booking siap with ur personal details and colour preference so i guess if u wait too long or u notice ur car given to a person who booked later than u, can lodge a complain to Proton and that dealer will be investigated.

i've tried paddle shift in S mode and D mode..

In D mode, after a while dropped gear, it will back to auto..

In S mode, its totally like manual.

baru fikir nak tukar sport rim 17" atau 18". tak ngam la abg mat@ DSZ sport rim ni. or in future Proton planning to introduce R3 or facelift version with 18" rim like Inspira R3. maybe at that time can tukar pada 18"? if ketegaq juga nak pakai rim 17" or 18", what part will be effect. if absober only nevermind la. cheap to change
*
i'm not dsz. just advice only, u can change to 17@18 inch as long as its within the rules of thumb not more than 3%. Inspira in 18 look good, but did compromised the comfort coz the profile already 40, which means really low. I think 17 inch is the best bet if u insist. But expect sacrificing a bit on comfort n please use new tyres, not 2nd hand one. Safety first.
