QUOTE(mat79 @ Apr 24 2012, 08:39 PM)
about the engine noise, they called it booming sound. Actually, it is extensively reduce if u compare it with bold cfe...but the main focus is more on other noise and harshness like wind, tyre n road noise. The engine has noise, but not harsh. Want actually talk about things that people dont aware, but have to go for dinner. Off now.

seen like cvt not easy to drive...i can learn no problem but my family sweat.gif scare they dunno how to drive
especialy my mom and dad they use to just jump in the car then start and go only sweat.gif
*
Remember to tell them to be caution when crossing junction road...
The car will not get immediate response and pickup to cross to the opposite road... ask them to be careful! sweat.gif
When I test drove the car, that almost make me panic as the car crawl slowly in the middle of the junction while the car from the main road almost reach me~ sweat.gif

Thatnks mat79, I believe when the time most ppl here got their cars, there will be less question post regarding this slow pickup "issue" because most of us here only test drove the car for a short while, many questions and many situation, experience etc were unclear and need to further explore, that's why many asking this and that out of curiosity. tongue.gif

When ppl adopted to the car's characteristic or behavior, you will see less and less questions (or complains) here... biggrin.gif
While we are eagerly waiting for our car to arrive, out of our boredom, we may ask funny questions and have many doubts etc... this should be understandable... laugh.gif

any tips for downhill for cvt?or just same as normal at?

I stole this from autoworld for you.... sweat.gif

QUOTE
Q: Could you give some advices/tips in using CVT when going uphill (e.g. Genting Highland)? Also does it have engine-breaking effect when coming down?

kristof: yes it has an automatic engine braking, but only when trottle completly released. Even more engine braking can be applied by putting transmission in L mode. Also for uphill L mode comes in handy, lower ratio, more pulling power!

Pointing out an error is one thing, being rude is another.

ckk125 pointed out what he sees as an error. You, on the other hand, was being plain rude. You first post in 54 pages in this thread, you were just waiting for the opportunity, weren't you?

Those who currently (or soon) got the car were booked at prebooking event long before official launched date (March) right? The prebooking event was held in KL?

Now, since Penang did not have this event, so whenever we got car deliver to Penang, those are for us who book after the official launch (April)?

Congratulations K2002! rclxms.gif
If you have time, could you mind try temporary switch OFF the ESC and see if the car still sluggish from still mode?
Just wonder if that make any different? tongue.gif

I booked Silver too, really wish to get mine earlier, can't wait.... sweat.gif
I booked on 19-April, without any chasing, my SA called this evening and said everything was ready (loan, documents etc...), now just wait for the car to arrive, probably next week! (but I doubt it could be so fast?! shocking.gif )

By the way, anyone mind to tell me what is DSZ actually? Always confused when reading this~ sweat.gif

sorry, drop by to clarify, 120k km sop for timing belt only applicable for iafm+ n cfe unit only. For campro, campro cps, campro iafm, n others, still 80k km sop. Savvy, renault based 60k km sop. Salam.

I think I gonna change it at 100k. lol

QUOTE(dares @ Apr 26 2012, 10:30 AM)
So late? I was thinking 60k, latest 80k  ohmy.gif
*
My Persona (IAFM) when asked about timing belt changing at service center, they said don't worry, 100K is the standard lifetime for changing.
I asked many time are you sure and should I change at 80K and he still said don't worry, can last till 100K and never heard a problem below 100K...
Then until last December, I changed the timing belt at 100K without facing any problem, but was quite worrying while driving the car within 80K to 100K time... sweat.gif
