I just want to say that those of us who defend Proton against unfair criticism do so for a few reasons. The most important reason of all is that we believe that we Malaysians can make something from scratch that we can call our own and that's good. The other reason I personally see the need to defend Proton is because of the army of singlet wearing ah-peks and their ilk who walk around criticising pretty much anything Malaysian simply because it's Malaysian. As evidenced by some of the earlier posts in this thread - one noticed that these douchebags just wait in the shadows praying for the first chance to highlight any Malaysian shortcomings. These same people also never if ever have the same enthusiasm for Malaysian virtues.

Do they not realise that by ceaselessly denouncing everything Malaysian, they are essentially denouncing themselves in the eyes of a foreigner?

I don't condone blind defence of Proton when it does not deliver - as in the case of the substandard welding, but is it too much to ask for a pat in the back when they do produce something noteworthy?
*
something noteworthy ???

the look of the car maybe , but did you realize if you brought the car and it breakdown like how you gonna feel ???

not to mention the money you pay already consider way much expansive

you know i know and all freaking malaysian knows our car is seriously overprice ......

so you willing to pay extra for a crap and dont mind it broken during driving ?? doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

o come on , my money i earn with tear and blood man .....
and you want me to spend it on that SHIT ???

Over my deadbody !

Your logic is like those old people who still dislike the Japanese because of what happen half a century ago - it's not the same people/engineers at Proton anymore, you cant judge Saga FLX, Exora and Preve based on your experiences with Iswaras, Wiras and Gen-2s.

Anyway fk this... I guess I'll pay more attention to this if you or members of your Proton Bashers Fan Club can build something like a Preve from scratch.

wow you mad girl ???

or you just order a preve ?

It is typical malaysian, claiming to be an "expert" only after seeing a SINGLE photo.
