Well done.
TheĀ  Command Rate (CR) could be improved.
1T (1N) is faster than 2T (2N) and 2T is faster than 3T
*
I'll try 1T in the future smile.gif

My RAM won't work at 1T. sad.gif The system won't boot at all.

Looks like owikh84 answered our question lat_lonelyboyz. Plus my ambient temp might be lower due to the freezing cold outside biggrin.gif

Anyway I have a new WC loop. Waiting for my GT-AP15s and fan controller, after that I'll try 4.7 or 4.8GHz. tongue.gif

I've hit my limit. Can't get close to 1.4V vcore, temps will be too high.
Now stressing 4.7GHz @ 1.34V. If this won't last for 18+ hours, that means I need to be happy at 4.6GHz.
Temps spiked to 100C at small FFTs. sad.gif

Might delid in near future tongue.gif

I think you can hit 4.7-4.8 with delid + liquid ultra. brows.gif Even wit cheap tim i manage to decrease the temp by 9c. thumbup.gif
*
Fail on the 8th hour sad.gif

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Nov 9 2012, 09:19 PM)
I didn't try Ultra on stock TIM (un-delided IHS) but I guess the improvement won't be as good as delidding one.
Efficiency of heat dissipation already lost in the crappy stock TIM.

I ordered Liquid Pro from their website on 21/10
The parcel actually reached Msia shore few days ago while I was not at home.
So roughly took 2 weeks to arrive.
*
How much did it cost you bro? Including shipping and all.

I got around 60GFlops in LinX, but around 100GFlops in IBT. What caused the difference? hmm.gif

Use the latest LinX in post #1?
I didn't doh.gif

Now that I'm using the one in post #1, I got 100+ GFlops.

I'm jealous that your 3770K can do 5GHz at 1.3V notworthy.gif

IMO no it's not what I concern about.
If you pass LinX/prime95 for several hours with no errors then your OC is stable.
*
You mean no WHEA errors OR no errors in LinX/Prime95?

Read again. If no LinX/Prime95 error then you are good to go.
*
Got you this time bro...

Usually I need extra 0.01V or 0.015V to get rid of the WHEA errors.

Seriously, IDK about WHEA error lol doh.gif
Here. You probably won't get it if you are using LinX, but I'm not sure.

I got 2 WHEA errors code 19 after 6 hours of LinX.

hi, kinda new to intel overclocking here. been with amd since 2006 till few weeks ago till i get myself a 3570k. i got a question,is 1.27v for 3570k@4.4ghz abit high?
*
I would say yes. I can get 4.6GHz with HT on with my 3770k at that voltage, even lower. But YMMV though...

Question for you guys here. If I were to OC my cpu and have a dual boot win 7 and osx machine, is it possible?
*
I might be too late to answer this but it is possible. I'm at 4.6GHz and still able to have dual boot Win 7 and ML.

Delided my 3770K and here is a 13 hours Prime95 stable 4.9GHz run. smile.gif

Nicely done bro  rclxms.gif
Your temps still allow higher OC, possibly 5.0GHz.
*
I was about to do a 5GHz run, but I need 1.48-1.50V or more to get it stable which is too high in my point of view. tongue.gif

Anyway, I'm sure I'll do it eventually. brows.gif

IMO lower than 1.5v is still acceptable, provided your temp is not too high ~100C.
Pretty sure you will get lower vCore with ASRock OC Formula.
This board has better VRM quality than any ROG lineup.
*
Temps won't be a problem from now on. tongue.gif
Changing board is not what I'm thinking right now, LOL.

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Jan 18 2013, 11:58 PM)
for my case, what is ur recommended vCore value?
*
You might want to try increasing the VCCIO a little bit. I increased mine in most of my OC.

can u over clock a i5-3750?
*
Do you mean i5 3570? Yes you can, you will need to change the base clock, which in turn will affect you ram frequency.

Before that what mobo are you using? You will need to change it in your bios. Have you done overclocking before?

Here is a guide for Ivy Bridge overclocking. If you go to the first page on this forum, there are a lot of guide posted by owikh84.

Since you using a non-K processor, overclocking will be hard. I'm not sure if you can adjust the multiplier. I suppose the base clock is the only way to overclock a non-K cpu. Read the guide and ask more on what you are not sure of.
