it is Hynix bro from what i spotted through a flashlight.
Team 2600C10 is better can achieve 2800 whilst this TridentX 2666 maxed out at 2700 only, even at loosen timing and 1.85v. Team/Samsung scales better with voltage increment.

At 2666, Team can do 10-12-12 @ 1.65v; TridentX 11-13-13 @ 1.65v and 10-13-13 @ 1.77v

Trident beats Team/Samsung at 2600 & below only.
2600 10-12-11 vs 10-12-12
2400 9-11-10 vs 9-11-11
Those were to pass 32m

Really envy your 3570K can do 4.5 @ 1.216. I need 1.368v to run at 4.5 stable <- BAD BAD CHIP.

ok i think i'm done with stress test
running LinX for 4 hours++..i think suffice enough
btw here's the screenshot (same as before)
Attached Image Attached Image

then i do prime95 for 12 hours....so far well maintained Vcore=1.216v which is very gud i think
here's the screenshot..i think can push higher but i'll keep stagnant at 4.5GHz for now coz no time testing..also very lazy and buzy...

how much heat does 3570k produce when OC compare to 2500k ?
since most review are base on europe country temp.OC around 4.2ghz on 2500k vs 3570k on 4.0ghz

Thanks smile.gif

i never use i5-2500k before..... sweat.gif
mine 4.5GHz on H70 max is 92c with LinX / 80+c with prime 95
which is for my personel preferences is acceptable since TJmax for Ivybridge is 105c (100c for SandyBridge)
*i replaced my stock 120mm Corsair H70 fans with Artic Cooling 120mm PWM fans thumbup.gif

so you are using Corsair H70 ? heard that the water cooler is quite noisy even on idle.

hey bro,

Just curious...what is the temps you getting with that amount of vcore pumping into the chip?

Cause my 3770k i dare not push pass 4.7ghz @1.29v as temps during prime95 is hitting slightly over 90 degrees..Currently using noctua nh-d14

The Auto tuning will actually write the settings into the bios for you. That is all it does, and doing it manually in the bios is no different, it accomplishes the very same thing. It's helpful for beginner overclocker who doesn't know how to use manual OC.
Somehow I don't think auto tuning will choose the lowest & efficient vcore & other voltages for you.
It will act just like it's having a brain on itself.
OC manually in bios is more fun, I don't wanna let mobo OC for me, but I OC for mobo instead biggrin.gif

yeah water is always a mate for OC.
If you are brave enough voiding the warranty, delid the IHS, replace TIM & running the chip topless. biggrin.gif
A good PSU with less ripple is needed to get a stable constant OC.

CPU on idle.

Intel new user here. So might take time. Few questions:
-BCLK default is 103. Should I change to 100?
-CPU voltage I set to manual but CPU manual voltage is auto. Do I need to set both voltage the same?
-AI Overclock tuner is manual.
-EPU Power saving mode is disabled.

My question is how come cpuz show as above? Shouldn't it show:
-Multiplier x41 as I set.
-Bus speed is 103
However, it is multiplier x41 during stress test. Is it normal like this for Intel cpu to downclock it self during idle?

If speedstep is enabled, yes...its normal. smile.gif

Bus speed you can leave it as stock...it does not matter as long as you don't exceed 101..should be fine
