I previously tried to OC to 4.5Ghz, but core0 failed prime95 barely 4 hours into the test. After fiddling around in the BIOS several times, now my CPU multiplier simply won't go above 44x, even though I've defined the limit to be 45x.
Hence the discrepancy in the multiplier value shown in CPUz.
Looks like your chip needs more juices for 4.5. Try upping your vCore to say 1.2v etc.Managed to run prime95 14+ hours without issues thus far.

As for the locked multi @ 44x, try enabling C-state and Speedstep aka EIST. Use the latest BIOS already?
