That was wat i understood from postingsDefinitely

Due to the fact they do not have a tested 1.8MT with properly set downpipe size for optimum results

QUOTE(miuk @ Apr 26 2012, 10:18 PM) Well if you want to mau there should be ok. I have a feeling that just to fab the pipes alone will take one day and might need to dyno it late at night. Takkan fab and pasang already going to put back ori and give u drive back. I guess the reason for asking for 2 days is to avoid rush jobs. If my memory is Not failing meDude read the older posts, especially the compilation posts from v31 before you start rambling about. I remember 4-2-1 will be tested with different size downpipe for optimum results If not wait so long 9 lan ah? |

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Apr 26 2012, 10:23 PM) like I said, let's sit down & discuss it over again, now diff people go talk to him then get diff answers because our needs are different, don't accuse frank of shortchanging us before it's clarified ..no need to be This i agree, 1.8 to wait resultsemotional in this...my job is to get the deposit paid up and testing part is really up to you guys already..I have mentioned this right from the beginning already Now, someone has to represent all 15 People to talk to SC especially those wanna wait 1.8 R&D results those 2.0 cvt want 421 can straight go install when it's ready... But 4-2-1 not going to be tested Wait mat 7 results? Wait tested 4-1 and compare with 2.0CVT 4-2-1 only??? |

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Apr 27 2012, 12:37 AM) now for those 1.8 MT/CVT wants 421 but worried the SC ori 421 pipe sizes are too big hence the R&D idea came about at the first meeting with frank...also some wanted 4-1 which supercircuit has never fabricated before thus this needs to be R&D too Done, mike have spokenthere are too many viariable and the only way is volunteers who are up for testing it out, very simple Which means now got 4-2-1 testing for 1.8MT mou? If no means, a short-change liao Added on April 27, 2012, 1:32 amthats y i said, i saw 4-2-1 and 4-1 testing for optimal results No need check back threads liao Hehehe Ask u, sie mei? QUOTE(miuk @ Apr 27 2012, 01:47 AM) There's no such thing as optimal results.... the most optimum will be your stock extractor which can last as long as your car's lifespan plus meets all the environmental concerns. 4-0-1The theory behind the 421 and 41 is well known already for both the pros and cons. As reeecchh man Vinsky says, You'll need to know what you want in the end. You want top end, go 4-1. You want mid go 421. The main reason we went SC is because he's willing to let us go R&D for 1.8 engine and plus the workmanship is awesome. For eg. If I can get a 4-1 design that does not lose power compared to stock at the low & mid range (but lower graph compared to 4-2-1) but with higher top range compared to 4-2-1 design, then I'll choose the 4-1. Optimum for environment + engine lifespan Im not Green So defeats the purpose Optimal results, for speed equation only Agreed with your e.g given But the best setting for 4-2-1 is still pending Sigh... Added on April 27, 2012, 2:42 amtop range Would need to see how top... 3k rpm band or above 4k Added on April 27, 2012, 7:24 amCheck out Wake up for the rest of da world This post has been edited by WilliamHoo: Apr 27 2012, 07:24 AM |
