anybody collect cigarettes box? i'm thinking to start mine collection cos the box look nice.

yeah dudes... I also collected it and displayed it as diorama in my closet... I'll upload the diorama pics soon!

I got a few but not as much of what I have 20 years ago.
I noticed there are not much brands nowadays compared during the 80's - there is the 555, camel, rothmans and etc.

I suggest one.. If anybody goes to JAPAN, find a limited edition of ZIPPO box (Marlboro). The box look exactly like a ZIPPO lighter with a silver finish. 20 batang lah.

well..if u asked a pro smoker..he would normally kent super lights o salem light has the less smell..

i got lots of cigarettes...most of them are marlboro from around the world....next time i will upload some photos.

XERNITY: I have already went to KL and manage to find the ZIPPO Marlboros..

I also spent up for Dunhill button range and of course.. Dunhill Top Leaf! (the taste is horrible, I prefer original dunhill!)

The first 3 are vintage cigarette packs. You wont be able to find then in the market anymore. The single one is normal in the market but seldom seen around nowadays.

no one got the great ziggy boxes from thailand?

i only collect dunhill lights 20's box. all emptied jus boxes.

how you all protect the boxes? After 10-20 years, I am sure those box wil become yellowish......and got some kind of small small tiny yellow spot.

Is it the ciggratte inside the box can TAHAN for long time?
Got expired date or not?

if the cigarette boxes r unopened, then it's still protected & the chance of becoming yellowish is low. if it's opened, like what i did is... i wrap my boxes in 10 x 10 boxes with those plastic... erm... those when u use it to wrap ur food b4 u put in oven to heat it up. this way, it air proofs the boxes.

the cigarettes expiry date is listed at the bottom of every box. the code tells when's the date of manufactured.

i stop smoking...but i have quite a lot of ciggie boxes..all from different brand...different country...i miss the taste of davidoff...always my favourite brand....like their boxes too..will get a picture of my collection and upload it...

Malboro is selling the special edition F1 (red box) packings. Till now I notice they only sell it separately the 3 designs. Hope they sell them in a special package like the Malboro Lights Country Special. That would be a nice addition to my rokok collection

i can never keep a box like that, it looks so new. Everytime the few last sticks left, the box is either wet or crumpled, worse still if i come back from clubs, doesnt even look like a box

Due to government policy, they are stoping all the supply of all pack 10 Cigarette. This 10 pack now can be considered as collectable items. So better buy now while stock last and keep it for years..sure can sell back, here or at e-Bay with high price.

I guess there's a topic about cigarette box collection in here somewhere..

You guys i think missing a lot of the special boxes out there. I know there are a few nice one on the market, the new Marlboro Chinese New Year promo, the regular/Lights Nepal where it got pictures of horses on it, the lighter pack (you guys keep reffering it as zippo packs)Marlboro came in 3 flavor and if i'm not mistaken suppose to sell only at airport but it seems that several selected seven 11 now selling those.

There's L&M special blend (red and blue color). The cigarette from Singapore you can see those gory graphic health warning. And i even got one of those special refilllable DJoe Sam Soe (Sempoerna cig) packet when i was in indonesia. The casing are made of hard plastics. Put it on my mantle piece, the cig inside covered individually by gold alluminium foil just like a cigar.
