I went to look at my 308T doors...wow..nice...no joints and welding spots really visible at all.
Anyway, I hope proton to something abt it....this car is something to look into..has most of the bells and whistles..looks good in paper..great adverts promoting it, priced right and a hundred other good things that say...BUY IT...BUT in reality...sigh...Proton will be Proton...

Haish. Even though it does not affect the safety or structural rigidity, at least cover it up la. Those goons at Proton know that people scrutinize EVERYTHING when it comes to Proton. Jangan la buat silly mistake like this. The average joe out there don't know anything about spot welding, rigidity, NCAP, etc. First impression matters.
BTW, I'm driving a Persona. So I am not a basher. It's just that I am sad such a great product being let down by such small matters

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Apr 18 2012, 10:59 PM) old tech vs new tech bro its always like that...and if ppl say why so late...reason very simple..cost just as same as "crumple zone" old car dn't have...so when crash..no kemek new car have...so when crash...the engine compartment crush and absorb the force..it looks uglier after crash but it saves lives example vios no crumple zone...crash and only dent...ppl say wah..see the car so strong proton include crumple zone...crash and the whole front is finish....thn ppl come and say "wah, proton so low quality, the whole front is gone" Vios no crumple zone.... Sound right.. Legit... So what else the vios don't have?

Thank you Proton for breaking new grounds in car manufacturing. You will always be remembered for this. So next time when we grow old and our grand kids buy car with this kinda quality, we can tell our old crap tales of when this started.
Man, it's been quite a while since I bash proton, but good is good. Bad is Bad. question is, how worst can it get?
