QUOTE(fuzzy @ Apr 23 2012, 07:03 PM)
Sorry to all the kaki's for not being able to attend the recent meetup.

I managed to install the rubber with some modifications (since some part too long). Noise got reduced slightly, as now my stock radio is at level 10-12 when last time i need to boost until 16-18 just to hear.

But dunno placebo or what, however at higher speed the tire and engine noise still visible, so must do more sound cancellation projects later.

its not placebo. its just that the noises from the places which isn't "soundproofed" is sort of amplified now because the other parts has already being insulated.

Possibly, but I do feel its more quieter at lower speeds. Maybe like you say, since no more wind sound, the tire sound now is more 'prominent'..

C'mon, Bros...
For RM130(+/-) ie 4 strips of replacement rubber seals, sure kenot do wat RM2k(+/-) Soundproofing also kenot do, rite? tongue.gif

It is also NOT claimed 2b able 2do...True?

Juz helps 2cut down sounds that come in thru gaps of doors...and a more solid closing?
Yr FIRST drive, after fitting them, gives the BEST impression & results!! Correct?

Enjoy missing those sounds yu've removed by reasonably cheap simple DIY.... smile.gif

ps. After some time, one adapts to new environment AND OTHER SOUNDS become MORE obvious. Rite? tongue.gif

i think for the best effect, should soundproof floor and fender (all wheels) too.. but floors need a lot of efforts.
one simple thing can be done is to close the gap between door with rubber, those D, P shaped rubber.
i've noticed this on preve but preve's custom made.

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1937085/all

jz like v12k said, if there's no sound disturbance from the side/door, it will penetrate thru engine wall and floor and fender
for best effect of course whole car soundproof for ICE enthusiast

but at least, we've improved our saga's ride rclxms.gif

Thanks to all bros feedback. A super duper busy day, met Wuakaka & took some of his messy chassis. Finally changed to 15 inches wheels. Needless to say, handling x999time improved! F*ck M3 stock tyres!

According to Yau Yip, my engine oil overdosed! Provided the TRD spoiler that causes another 99kg+downforce @ 10kmh,useless M3 tyre, catcon inplace, standard air-filter. With all that side effects the heavy fuel consumption. Thanks to Ah Wai. Also fixed the key ring lights, now my key ring is no longer dull and happy to see that now smile.gif

You see, when you use the word overexposed like that .. it's just so misleading ....

Expectations were raised and after seeing it ... what a let down .... mad.gif
