thx..

this if quoted from davidke20

QUOTE(davidke20 @ May 3 2012, 10:37 PM)

I read in/hg = inches/mercury. Meaning how many inches of mercury the vacuum can suck in. I normally maintain my driving around 10~15in/hg, that is the efficient burning range. Above 10 is rich, below 20 is lean, below 25 is dangerously lean and may cause overheating IN THE BURNING ROOM(not your radiator). Now less restriction on the air-filter, I need to readjust my feet to a correct position while stepping on the gas pedal, therefore my car actually lose power instead. In short, its MY PROBLEM for now icon_rolleyes.gif

Last time I mentioned about this OBD2 reader:

OBD2 diagnostic scanner

I have been told be mxsteven of the Waja thread that it works on Persona and Preve, but not the Saga FLX as it is a different protocol.

Guys, what are the tyre models in market for 13 inch rim? im looking for quieter ride. currently on goodyear ducaro (stock). what is the estimated price? thx!
*
instead of changing to quieter tires, you could instead do fender treatment with bitumen like material
something like this:
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2124324&hl=

i hvn't tried, but i do hv some diy soundproof on my ride.
jz giving another choice since tires also not cheap and will degrade over time

There are people who advice against that with a CVT powertrain, the same reason why I wont allow the tireman to do on wheel balancing on my front wheels previously (allowing the wheel to spin freely, or coasting in N)

I would advise against doing that, at least until I recieve the reply from Kristof of Punch Powertrain that it is OK to do that.
*
i've read a tip from fuelly that for auto car engaging to N doesn't really save fuel, unless u're coasting while in D.
not sure how much better compared to idle N

To Coast in Neutral or Not...

Coasting in N removes engine braking ma, so you can coast further compare to D. At least that is the logic la.

EDIT: just read your spoiler, haha that would suck for those who regularly coast in N.
*
when u engage to N, it's like cutting the engine in a sudden. while coasting in D is a slow process.
now if anyone can confirm how much efficient the engine lower the rev from higher rev to idle from D in say 50-60kmh directly to N
and from D all the way in 50-60kmh slowing to a complete halt to 0kmh with gradual braking.

as we know hard braking is bad for engine coz u r slowing down the engine in a short time..

im no engineer, so just using logic tongue.gif

read on the net about Deceleration Fuel Cut Off.. does IAFM+ hv it?

QUOTE
On mostly level roads, coasting in neutral with the engine on is more efficient than driving at a constant speed for longer, then coasting in gear (i.e. engine braking) to slow down.

On downhills, coasting in gear is the most efficient technique if the slope is steep enough to require continuous engine braking (no fuel being used at all).
On lesser slopes coasting in neutral is also highly efficient

if u read in user manual, engaging N while car still moving is not recommended, only change to N while car is not moving.

U mean FL left lever when u flick it towards yourself it doesn't stuck on high beam? And to activate high beam you have to push the lever towards the dashboard?

Or you're trying to tell me pull the lever halfway so it won't stuck at high beam? laugh.gif Anyway, going to test an FL tonight, will pay attention to that.
*
halfway it is, need a gentle touch tho, can do multiple flash beam if ur hand gentle enough

same with me, especially in an emergency. when want to give high beam, accidently activated wiper wash tongue.gif
sometimes when quickly hit horn with right hand will also hit tune radio button on steerting sweat.gif

another thing is, sometimes drove my father's or mother's car and siblings.. all are japanese made or perodua
will need to take few minutes to switch brain logic laugh.gif

mind to tell your fc.
any problem with your saga?
*
there's a link in the 1st page showing the average fc from blm owner
and usually people want good fc, but they unaware that they drive less efficient

i saw it on 1st post. it seems far differ to the brochure stated or salesperson claims, 0.12/km.
*
we know that, proton did mention the fc meant for 90kmh constant. more likely in a highway
city fc should be lower and combined should be in between. mine so far hardly get more than 12km/l in city (stop go traffic)
max highway/long distance/constant speed: i've achieve 15km/l
