One question:
I have owned 1.3 FLX for about 6 months. The car used to be smooth. Smooth in the sense that I did not accelerate much to get the car to move, or just applied a bit acceleration to speed up the car.

Now, starting last week, the car is jerky when I started up the engine. I even experienced engine die down at reversed gear, which I did not experience it before. I need to accelerate a lot in order to get my car to move as before and make me feel like the car is underpowered.

Anyone mind to share your experience of this? Fuel pump defect? The care fuel pump was replaced on the 2nd week when I got the car as the car couldn't not be ignited to start up.

Thanks in advance.

What's your mileage and when was your last oil change? CVT or manual?

Is the underpower feeling happening in the morning after cold start only, or throughout the day also the same?

It is obviously in the morning, and after work after I parked it for 7-8 hours.
Sometime, it happened at cold start, after I parked my car for 2-3 hours.

parked for 2-3 hours oni is not cold start already. Cold start usually means starting the car the first time after leaving it overnight.

It could be related to a weak fuel pump, clogged air intake, poor petrol quality, high engine oil viscosity, ECU/engine tuning out of whack or others. Send it to the SC to get it properly diagnosed, if possible, send it to CoSE.

Or wait for members who are more knowledgeable than me to answer blush.gif

he already cut.. so yes. at each end, he cut half of it, so should be able to fit under the cover. zeone said can be done without opening the plastic cover.

Yup, Bros...Not need 2remove/open any other part of door area!! thumbup.gif
Dun follow those pics, pleez....

To remove old ori : after pulling out ori part short distance fr end, juz pull out the end that is inserted into plastic cover.
Only a short length is inserted into those plastic covers.

To install OEM : Like oledi kno, Seller oledi cut both the "D" hollow parts of both ends.
Juz start install by inserting one end into plastic cover ie reverse of Removal process.
Then push in bit by bit onto door edge.
Finally insert other cut end into plastic cover at other door side.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the seal is pushed onto door edges so as to fit deep & well onto edges. Esp AT CORNERS/Curved parts!!
Go slow, ok?

NB. OEM seal might be a bit longer. Use other seal strips/ori as template to cut off & reshape end to fit.

Sincerely my explanation above wld save yu guys some headache.
Best wishes & Good luck!

ps. After doing 1 strip, yu'll find the other 3 pcs "kacang" liao!! smile.gif
